Emmys thoughts:
1. Worst hosting ever

2. Christina Hendricks has the best rack in show business (SHE LOOKED SO HOT. SHE IS DEFINITELY PROMOTED TO GIRLCRUSH STATUS.)

3. The Emmys haven't rewarded anything I love since...probably since Lost in 2005. I watched 30 Rock after the Emmys and I just...don't get it, or something. I might like Mad Men, though, I haven't seen that. But come on, Kristen Chenoweth!! Olive is one of the best characters on TV.

Random thoughts: I love all my icons, I do, but I think the Supernatural fandom just has the best icons. So many of my favourites are in that fandom. The number of Supernatural icons I have is disproportionate to the amount I like the show. Meanwhile, not enough people make Pushing Daisies icons.

ETA: Remember this mystery James Gunn project? It's James Gunn's PG Porn! AHAHAHAHAHAHA. HAHAHAHAHAHA. HAHAHA.

ETA2: I only just figured out that James and Sean Gunn are related, and I can't get over Rosenbaum's Charlie Brown hair.

YEP.

YEP.

I tried it last year as well - or well, when it premiered. I didn't get it either. I have so much love for Tina Fey so that's why I've been willing to give it a shot a couple times. I'm on my 3rd right now - last night I watched eps 4-7, I definitely find it more amusing now, but it's still not laugh out loud funny to me. Honestly, I feel like its more fault of the actors. Unless thy are going for completely serious people delivering lines that should be delivered via an Arrested Development cast member. (Given a friend who said she couldn't believe I didn't watch the show what with being a big AD fan.)

And yes, Kristin so deserved that award. She of ANYONE in the cast completely brings the look of the show to its fullest fruition. The others do as well, with Lee following Kristin, but she is just completely BALLS OUT. You know?

I watched what I think was a fairly recent episode last night, it had someone from Arrested Development in it, but I still didn't think it was very funny. There were maybe two laugh-out-loud moments.

I love how determined Olive is. She's a tiny blonde ball of energy.

Yeah, see, I think there's this subtlety to 30 Rock, but the approach to the humor is very smart much like AD. The more I watch of it, the more I quite like it. I still don't laugh out loud a lot like most of the show's fans but I giggle lots now. :)

Totally! And who better to play that than Kristin? At first I was upset that people were saying she felt out of place when I read reviews of the pilot. Becasue when I first heard about her being casted I thought, "Kristin is so perfect for a world created by Bryan Fuller!"
