He's sexy, beautiful, charming, lovely, and more than likely to be gay but who really cares when he's standing in front of you? I've met him 7 or 8 times in the last two days and I utterly adore him :D:D:D

Friday Night: Cocktail Party.
I wore black and white skirt, nice new black top, black shoes and green crown. Looked hot. Wearing the green crown ended up working brilliantly to my advantage.

bobw2004ers along the way. Cocktail party was, in general, great fun. I met every guest except for the WETA boys, but Mark Ferguson was a total dick to any girls that weren't hot. Sarah McLeod was nice enough (we talked about Maisie's dark wig as Frodo, and what Rosie had been up to), Joel Tobeck was a bit iffy, David Weatherly is a creepy and sleazy but ultimately useful man, and Jorn Benzon is just adorable (and his name is kinda pronounced "Yarn".) There were these two girls, young 'uns, who were just staring open-mouthed at my crown, so I pointed them out to my friends, only Jorn walked right between us and thought I was pointing at him! I hurried over to assure him it wasn't the case and he came over to talk to us. He spent about an hour talking to the girls and I last night! He was a little scared when we mentioned gay hobbits, but he seemed genuinely interested to be talking to us *shrugs* He even wore the crown for a group photo! Okay, onto the Craig.
Meeting #1: David Weatherly is the first guest to notice my hat and wander over to talk to me. I mention something about having a fan moment and he GOES TO GET CRAIG FOR ME! Craig came over to say hi to us and I start babbling, as I do when I'm excited. Turns out he went to an international school too, so we actually had something in common! Apparently I hogged him though :( sorry guys! He was wearing the nicest suit, he looked amazing. He just gives off this hot vibe. Stubble and black shirt and can you say GUH? Sure, I knew you could.
Meeting #2: There was a photo taken of him with a whole bunch of people and I ran in and kneeled in the front (right next to his crotch!!) Unfortunately due to my skirt and the fact that I'm a little slow, everyone had gotten up afterwards before me and proceded to mill around me in such a fashion that I couldn't actually get up. I asked them to move and Craig helped me up! I congratulated him on the Oscars and he seemed pleased :) he was at TORN, apparently.
GQ Embarasses Herself #1: I sat in a chair which was kind of high, so people were teasing me about it being a throne.natatree sat beside me. Jorn was in front of us talking unconcernedly as we'd already met him before. I looked down to fix my skirt and felt someone brush against me knees, and Nat says "look up." I look up and Craig Parker turns around and looks at me! I completely freaked out, I sort of started and went "omigod!" and he stared at me like I was nuts.
Meeting #3: After that Craig and Mark were comparing foot sizes (lol!) and some guy said "I hope it's only shoe size you're comparing" so Craig's hands move towards his zipper! LOL! Anyway, after that incident I apologised for making an ass of myself and he touched my shoulder (his hands are big and soft and warm) and then fondled my crown (Craig + inflatable green plastic crown=OTP--watch this space for the icon) and said that if it was full of water fish could swim in it (wtf? I don't care what he was saying, he was pretty) and he was impressed it had survived from Japan over about 3/4 years.
Meeting #4: Just a brief chat when he was talking about elevators. Shortly beforehand I'd been talking to Sarah and I was listening to her but looking at Craig, so I said to her "Sorry, I'm a little distracted." She moved in front of me a couple of times when I was looking at Craig after that, as a joke.
Anyway, apparently when I was talking to Craig after she went off somewhere else she came back to try to do it again--and I had NO IDEA!
Following the cocktail party I took Nat and Andree to a metal bar for Chris's birthday and got utterly smashed while talking to T&N, Misha, Anna, Phoebe and Chris. It was really fun, the bartender was nice. They had a sign saying "Parking for Metalheads Only, No Boy Bands Allowed" and I said "That's a bit rough, can't you be a fan of both?" The bartender said "Well, being a fan of both is better than just being a fan of boybands!" It was great :) then we had chips and Nina stepped on my toe and broke my toenail, and then she dropped me home. Poor old Tom had to put up with a LOT of hugs and fangirl squeeing!
Saturday: Convention Day
Having gone to bed drunk at 3:30 am I was up at 7, running around like a chicken with its head cut off, trying to get showered and out the door. Managed to get there only a little late, but still didn't get good VIP seats! It started with a short intro of the guests and they stood on stage, and then we went for the photos. The emcee reminded me so much of Conan O'Brien! Plus I got to meet the lovelyritergirl, a longtime LJ friend of mine, and musewhipped.
Meeting #5: After watching a rather shoddy Star Trek thing I realised everybody was just in line for the photos regardless, so I went to get mine taken. While in the cue I met some lovely people, two guys behind me and four girls in front. I said I was going to try to get Craig to wear the crown for my photo, so the girls let me go in front of them coz they wanted to see if it would work! I went over and asked if he could wear it and he said yes. He put his arm around me and I glomped onto him. I don't remember if we said anything else, other than my usual "Thankyou!!!" But one of my photos is GORGEOUS (even though you can see the gum in my mouth and I kinda have hat hair!) His eyes are amazing.
Jorn wasn't there at first but he came in after the next 2 girls had their photos, so I had mine with him then. HE asked ME if I wanted him to wear the crown! Of course I said yes, and you can see the 11/11 on my hand in those photos, though in one we're looking off at something next to the camera guy! lol!
Then I saw Andrew (a guy I actually know in real life, which was bizarre) and we went back for the Q&As. First it was David, who did brilliant accents but was still a little creepy. I was kneeling for the whole thing since I didn't have a seat yet. I accosted someone else's seat for Sarah's Q&A which was kinda cute but I still fucking HATE Rosie, which put a bit of a dampener on it. Then lunch--chips and some of a sausage for me! Couldn't afford anything else.
Meeting #6 + GQ embarrases herself #2: I was informed that it would be better to keep my official pictures nice, so I got my $5 completely incorrect schedule signed by Jorn and Craig instead (it cost so much I couldn't even afford one of the nice pictures they were selling to get signed.) I was kinda late and the guide dog lady was giving a presentation (they had auctions and raffles and stuff for the guide dogs), but I REALLY had to pee, so I ran out--and Jorn and Craig were still there! I got my guide signed, and Craig did it backwards--his name, then Lots of Love. In the bathroom I realised he hadn't written my name, so I ran back to get him to write it! He wrote in green pen for me :D
I finally had a chair when I got back from lunch, but it was right in the aisle!!! The Weta boys gave their presentation but in the middle of theirs, we talked to Dom on the phone! He apologised and talked about Cup, Tig, Viggo's bearded ladies and Norwegian wood. I was disappointed that a lot of people asked him about things that were already on the DVD. He sounded great. Yum. Then the WETA boys talked about Shelob, which was interesting.
Jorn and Joel went next, and they were really good, though Joel scared a baby by screaming army instructions and then they made it worse by singing Rock a Bye Baby! Anyway, at the end of it Joel was asked to do a bit from Rocky Horror, and he did Frank n Furter and he acted out a bit with Jorn. OMG the slash! Fantastic.
And finally Craig and Mark took the stage, and when I say that I mean *took the stage*. Mark may have been a shithead to us but the two of them together sure know how to work an audience. Craig started out (after the photo session) by teaching us all to love ourselves and each other, which for some reason involved a lot of thigh squeezing. I asked him if he could do Gothmog(?)'s (Pig Orc) voice, and he did--he ordered pantyhose from Mark in it!
"The time of the stocking is over. The time of the PANTYHOSE is here!"
Then they told various embarassing stories. At one point Mark was talking and I looked at Craig for a moment and I swear he was staring right at me. Craig said he took Elijah home with him as a souvenir! They're so cute. They had a light sabre fight, too. And they talked about blooper reals that "never happened" including three hobbits popping up under the covers in Rivendell...Anyway, they did stories and flirted a hell of a lot, and then they did word by word improv--each of them said one word at a time. I was literally splitting my sides laughing. My mouth ached afterwards, esp. since I've got a wisdom tooth coming through! Anyway, it involved Patrick, Venice, a flying camel, In Vino Veritas and a spatula.
Then we had The Auction. The long, painful auction during which I was completely unable to put my remaining $15.50 to use (though the guy in front did give me 10c, so I had $15.60!) People were spending hundreds on magazines. It was utterly ridiculous (but believe me, if I'd had that kinda money I'd have done the same thing.) A huge poster signed by A-L-L the cast went for nearly $3000. I thought that was so amazing I took TWO photos of said poster!
The best part of The Auction was my aisle seat. Craig seemed to always decide to have to walk right past me, frequently brushing various parts of his body against me or similar. I had NO PROBLEMS with this. I had his ass in my face at least twice. It's really nice, lol.
Also, while modelling a brooch of the Lorien leaf, Joel came over and grabbed my crown and then wore it around! Which meant that literally every guest but Ben Wootten, Warren Mahy and Mark had either worn or touched my crown. I fucking loved it. It was the village bicycle!!!
Meeting #7: Ah, the best one! Since I still had my $15.60, I went to Craig afterwards and said I would give the Guide Dogs my remaining $15.60 for a kiss from him. And he kissed my cheek and hugged me!!! Then when I put the money in he said I was beautiful and I didn't have to put in my last $10, and I should buy an icecream on the way home with it! Then he asked if I was coming tonight or tomorrow, and when I said not until Sunday night he said it was a shame, but he'd make sure to see me there! He waved as he left, it was BLISS.
The lovelybeanzy let me borrow her phone to call home for a lift afterwards (she's so sweet! So are all the LJ guys and girls), and then I worshipped the $3000 poster with...oh, shit, I've forgotten her name! She's so much fun, too. Anyway, just as I was preparing to have my photo taken with said poster, who should turn up but omgnaughtyevil!! He's just gorgeous, and a total sweetheart to boot. We hugged and took a picture and hugged and I showed him my photos and hugged some more. Then I had to go coz my father came :( but Luke says HI to all you LJ friends and he would LOVE to post, but he can't!!!
Called Tom as soon as I got home of course, and had 2 sausages and a carrot for dinner. Which means all the food I've eaten all day--from 7 am until midnight--has been a muesli bar, a banana, some chips, 2 1/2 sausages, an icecream and a carrot. That's NOT normal for me!
Okay, overall impressions of Craig. He's lovely, friendly and has the prettiest eyes and a really warm smile. Plus he's cuddly yet still very, very hot. Humina. Most of his jokes are hits, the misses are particularly bad (the fish and a line about his Elvish leaving the building.) He's got his mind permanently in the gutter--he made the Haldir doll look like it was masturbating, and he constantly made lewd jokes (but not as bad as Mark's "The most embarassing moment was when I wet YOUR pants!") Generally he's about as sweet a guy as you're ever likely to meet, dresses well, is funny, good at acting and impersonations, and more than likely gay, because really, what straight guy has all those qualities? Oh, and he smells so good, too. I'm in love.

ETA: I have come back to edit this post 7 times since I first wrote it now :) I just keep thinking of new things to say!!!! Oh, it's just all been too amazing.

Joel Tobeck was a bit iffy
By that stage of the convention he was, although I hadn't quite met him *giggle* But it all became clear to me how wonderful he was when we were standing around the bar talking and he was staring at my chest *snort* No he was a nice guy though... excellent hugger! <3
Jorn! LOL! Honestly when I type it and read it I see it as "yorn" or "yawn" but I can't believe it is pronounced "yarn"! Bwahaha I should have called him the knitting dude or something o.O
There was a photo taken of him with a whole bunch of people and I ran in and kneeled in the front (right next to his crotch!!)
