Instead of a book, I'm recommending a movie: I know that, out of everywhere, LiveJournal probably has the highest population of people who've seen this, but everybody should see The Fall. It stars Lee Pace and it's stunning.

Oh, and I'm recommending a TV show: Starsky & Hutch. It's all up on YouTube, and it's aged surprisingly well. They have a chemistry you can't beat.

Some slightly disappointing news today, guys: Christian Kane will no longer be joining us at the Hub con. However the three lovely ladies of cult television and Michael Muhney are still attending, so go get your tickets! We'll be partying down even without Christian Kane. He doesn't know what he'll be missing :p

Anyway, that news will not deter me from the fourth and final Lambspam, the season 3 Lambspam. Sadly this is the season in which we say goodbye to our beloved Sheriff, but our fond memories remain, many of them in this picspam.

frances_veritas posted a bunch of Harry Potter videos including interviews from the premiere AND new clips on HBO, so I'm not gonna repost them. HEARTS all Weasleys. I will repost the link to this interview of the Mutual Admiration Society (Jo and Imelda), but I dislike the interviewer because she prioritises people ('the two biggest stars of the show except for Dan Radcliffe, of course, who plays Harry Potter.') Now, first off I would say Jo is FAR more important than Dan, but why do you have to say these people are bigger stars than those? There are so many great characters and actors, and everyone has their favourites, so why say some are better than others and brag about who YOU got to interview? Annoying.

Info on new-new Supernatural sides that are not Those Sides and are far more intriguing.

Okay, here's that final Chris spam I've been promising forever. All caps once again from Chris Lowell Online Gallery - these spams would not have been made without dekolette's fantastic site.

I am entranced by the way the show is playing this character as the absolute stereotype of a young, sexy, voracious receptionist who is shamelessly parading his body for the doctors and working damn hard to get into the pants of an older doctor who is, as far as I know, still married at this point (though separated or...divorcing...I haven't seen the other parts of the episode yet.) If Dell was a female character on a show full of male doctors who are in their 30s and 40s, we'd all be having a fit. I've been saying for a while, though, that I don't so much mind the sexual objectification of women so long as we can sexually objectify men in the same way, and that's exactly what this show is doing. I'm also kind of thrilled that the person who's been cast in this role is Chris Lowell, who is now pretty much my favourite actor on television, someone who I've already discovered is pretty much the hottest thing on two legs. I don't watch Grey's Anatomy anymore, but this? Is going to be AWESOME.
