melissajane14 and I are both really, really excited to see Not Quite Hollywood, about the 'Ozploitation' films of the 70's and 80's. The trailer played before a movie we saw yesterday and it looks like the most eye-burningly awesome film documentary in history.

The Movie Quiz #2. Significantly easier than the first, I only didn't get the blanked-out faces and #2 in the regular section. I did spend half an hour on the scramble, though :S

Apparently, Seth Green is a) in Australia and b) offering his services to Joss for Dollhouse. Seth, Eliza and Muhney? I would die a thousand deaths by awesome.

I didn't find out until just now, but Dom scored a new role! In a movie called Pet (seems kinda appropriate, considering Dom's bizarre pets) which is about obsession. I hate those kinds of movies, but it's Dom so I'll watch it. The writer (who wrote the role WITH DOM IN MIND, AWESOME) says it's more long the lines of Hard Candy than, say, Saw. It sounds to me a little like Vertigo...which I hate, but, you know, classic movie and all that jazz.

So, skulkings posted this whole story about that famous cut scene from Spartacus where they semi-obliquely discuss boys liking boys, using metaphors of fish bits (what?), and discovered the scene on YouTube, cut in with a cute interview with Tony Curtis - they had to re-loop the dialogue, with Anthony Hopkins dubbing for Laurence Olivier. CRAZY. She told the story better, but I am lazy and also wouldn't want to cut-paste.

I don't even LIKE Twilight that much. Though, RPattz as Edward is...erm, dazzling. Except in the picture of just the kids, where he's like, straining to pout harder. VAMPIREZ IZ SRS BZNS.

Seriously awesome Lost icons. I may have found my Faraday icon! I also love the colour on these multi-fandom icons.

I did NOT want to go to uni or work today, my head felt like it was going to explode, but I soldiered on like the brave little toaster I am. I actually fell over one time at work because I popped my ears and lost my balance, and I think I pulled something sneezing, BUT I MANAGED. Also, Mitchell went off to dinner with some boy he's only met on the internet, so I went with him to make sure that the guy didn't seem like a serial killer rapist.

The best news of the day, of course, is that shoebox_project has been semi-updated. It is pathetic the paroxisms of joy this sends so many of us into. We are such Shoebox whores.

Next best thing: LOST SEASON 3 BLOOPERS! I love that Dom is first. He's such a goof even with his new mouth. I LOVE HIM AND HIS BOYTOUCHY WAYS. And I love Elizabeth Mitchell's laugh, and Naveen's real accent.

I WANT THIS BOOK SO MUCH. SERENITY FOUND. Finding Serenity is one of my favourite things. Not that I'm saying anything, but it's my birthday in 2 months, and if any RL people are stuck on what to get me...

Not graduating. Rather upset about it, actually.

How I know I'm spending too much time on LJ:
1. I only saw my first or second Doctor Who episode the other day, and yet when I saw the word 'ten' on its own recently I first thought not of the number but of David Tennant as the Doctor.
2. I'm not into incest, yet my flist is so inundated with it than when I saw link to a High School Musical Ryan/Sharpay mix recently my first thought was not 'that's so wrong, because they're brother and sister' it was 'that's so wrong, because he's so obviously gay.'
3. I WANT TO GO TO COMICON.

I watched the first episode of Torchwood tonight. I really, really enjoyed it. Most of what I've seen has (unsurprisingly) been focused on Jack and Ianto and all the manlove, and it was nice to see how the show started. I cracked up at how all the mystery and spookiness was blown when Gwen 'delivered pizza'. All the Welsh accents keep making me think of primary school, though.

I love Frank Iero. You know, fyi. I love how he totally calls people on their shit all the time. He also has the sexiest voice of everyone in the group. And he's so pretty. Also, does one just automatically friend people back on MySpace no matter how godawful they are? I suppose it doesn't matter since you don't have a friends list. LJ is so much easier.
