I think this is the oldest icon that I have. I remember I was so ridiculously proud of it when I first made it, which is probably about 4 years ago. I love Dom at this event, and I love his face in this icon. He looks so peaceful.

It's just, you know, true. Plus I love Dom's tendency to grope, hug or kiss every man in his vicinity, and Dom and Naveen are so cute. I love that this actually happened.

I've had this one forever also. The Supernatural gag reels are so ridiculous and amazing, seriously. I love all of them, and this moment was hilarious, and I think the icon is adorable. Jensen and Jared are so great.

So I went to a con yesterday and it was awesome. Stargate and Farscape, so a bunch of people I didn't know along with Ben Browder, Claudia Black and Gigi Edgley from Farscape and HOLY CRAP MACGYVER, FOR REAL. Not so awesome was the flat tire I got driving from Canberra to Sydney in the rain on Friday night :( I missed most of the party, but I met Claudia, who was lovely and is just beautiful. She was very nice. Didn't meet anyone else that night, then I showed up the next day and sort of bounced around the venue hanging out with people. Photos were up first and I met MACGYVER, HOLY CRAP, so that was awesome. He and Ben were both quite touchy-feely, they both put their arm around everyone as soon as they can in for the photo. Both really nice, too :)

The talks were good, the best one I went to (didn't go to two, because I felt disingenuous not knowing the guests) was actually Chris Judge and Dan Shea, who I really only barely knew. They did a shirtless knuckle push-up contest. Some bonehead questions from the audience, one from me for RDA. Claudia signed a photo for baldie_troll for his birthday, which was lovely (I looked like a moron when I was trying to buy him a damn present, because there was all this great stuff and I was texting him messages with picture of it and he was like "I don't want that. Are there Vala action figures?") I didn't have very interesting conversations with anyone, but my photos and autographs rock.

I drove back for baldie_troll's birthday, so by that night I was exhausted, and then I got a virus at midnight last night and my internet is slow and I had to download a bunch of stuff to get rid of it and didn't sleep until like 4:30. I'm soooo tired now. I got him an autograph from Claudia that said "birthday wishes" and a Vala doll.

Go join lotr_lims. It's pretty great, very consistent, one of the best LIMS challenges I've done - and I've done a lot.

Real life:

Interviewed for the director position I want today. I will be so bummed if I don't get it, seriously. I don't think the interview went as well as it could have, I was tired and not feeling well.

Puck isn't letting me get much sleep, but he's so damned cute. He does this little butt wiggle before he pounces on things, and it's adorable. Also, he's quite cuddly. He keeps scratching me, though, mostly by accident - trying to get up on my lap and things like that. I'm covered in scratches.

It's really fucking hot.

Glee:

Go join gleeverse, it's fun. It's one of those game communities where you're on a team and you do challenges. I'm on Team New Directions, because clearly the Glee kids are the best.

Woo! 'Glee' officially renewed for a second season! I'm sick of seeing "I love Glee, even though it's flawed" everywhere. Quit qualifying your love. 'Chuck' is flawed. Hell, even 'Dollhouse' is flawed. I think there's only three genuinely flawless seasons of television I've ever seen.

Casting spoilers. Seems everyone ever in a musical is getting in on the show.

I must've missed this somehow: Trailer for 'The Lovely Bones'. I've actually read both this and 'The Time Traveler's Wife', which isn't terribly normal for me in terms of movies coming out based on current popular books. Of the two, I prefer 'The Lovely Bones', although I didn't enjoy either all that much. Pretty good trailer. While I was there I clicked the link for 'Where the Wild Things Are' and watched that again just for the pure happiness it gives me.
