GO VOTE in this HBIC poll. I'm glad Zoe's doing so well, but sad that Veronica is losing and the only person I would never vote for is winning by a landslide. What is that?!

Is "NCIS"'s Pauley Perrette the coolest straight person ever? I don't know, she let them make her spout some pretty closed-minded shit in that episode of NCIS with the transsexual in it. She's always seemed pretty awesome, but there's still that. And there's some...she says she supports the separation of church and state, but also implies in one of her statements that going to church can be equated with good morals.

US singer Chris Brown has been sentenced to 180 days' community labour and five years' probation for assaulting pop star Rihanna. He attacked her because she's a woman and he terrorised her and he doesn't have to jail. And she got back together with him. UGH.

2009 Portal Awards winners. Best Actress: WHAT? WHAT?!? Mary McDonnell should've OWNED it. And it appears I am mostly alone in not loving Monster at the End of This Book. Yay for Star Trek, though!

Dollhouse Season Two Is All About "Murder and Sex". Loads of teasing spoilers, but my favourite is this, from (of course) Fran:

They start right in with some crazy stuff. Tim Minear has crazy stuff in store. And Jed [Whedon] and Maurissa [Tancharoen]'s episodes are out of this world.

Given the way Epitaph One turned out that doesn't surprise me AT ALL. I can't see the videos, though.

I feel old. I'm chatting with a friend from high school on MSN who's married (and needs to come visit me asap) and the girl who was my best friend in years 9 & 10 just posted HER ULTRASOUND on Facebook. I was like WTF. More at the fact that she's pregnant than the posting the ultrasound bit, but...that's also a bit WTF.

So, last night I went for coffee with a hottie who has moved away. He was just back for a couple of days and was nice enough to squeeze me in :p I have been flirting futilely with him for ages, and now it seems like...we're friends. Welcome to my life! Oh well, he's fun regardless.

Joss is obviously having fun with the Season 8 storylines. Really, is any Joss fan shocked?!

20 Spring movies EW can't wait to see. I'm looking forward to Stop-Loss the most. More importantly, when is Indy 4 coming out that it is not on this list?!?

I don't know when I did it, but it feels like my scalp is sunburnt, which is annoying. Trivia tonight was fun, we came third. The first Lost Radio of the season was on today too, so that's exciting.

The cover for Issue 7 of Buffy Season 8 is pretty much the hottest thing ever. Daaaaaaaamn. Oh, and Joss interviews Brian K. Vaughn :D

I've slept 4 hours in the last 38. Everybody was sooo tired tonight, and I'm going to need people around for the next few days as I discovered I can't even load & unload the dishwasher without help now. Luckily my friends are around ♥ You should see my arm where they took blood. It's all bruised up.

The other day I went to Borders and bought myself a Harry Potter poster book (there's an ADORABLE picture of Sirius hugging Harry that made my heart ache) and a SIRIUS DOLL OMG (who is now in his rightful place next to my Lupin doll.) I have no money but I'm so glad I bought them, I LOVE them.

There's a bunch of really exciting new Harry Potter pictures in gorgeous hires at The Leaky Cauldron, but mellafe posted them here in one set for your viewing pleasure.

OotP press junket report and Crazy Gary Oldman article. It's adorable.

I'm terrified of the possibility of stumbling across Harry Potter spoilers on the net or in real life. I'm half-tempted to just lock myself in my room with no internet for a month, because I do NOT want to be spoiled.

I got my first issue of Season 8 today and celebrated the five minutes it took me to read it (that's a dollar a minute!) by watching every episode commentary on my season 7 DVDs. Five minutes a month instead of an hour a week. They just like teasing us, don't they? But augh, so good. I love Buffy.
