Eucalyptus - is a strong, familiar smell. Eucalyptus cream or oil works really well on infections and moderately well on mosquito bites, if you use it fast enough. Koalas eat eucalyptus leaves only.

Fantasy (or Fantasies), as a genre of entertainment or a way of life - I wouldn't say that fantasy is really a way of life for me, but I think my interest in fantasy is similar to my preference for sci-fi as a genre. I find the real world limiting in terms of concepts and ideas and experiences. I like to read about and see things that are outside of our realm of existence, new and different and exciting. I don't consider myself a huge fan of fantasy in literature - I'm not into what I consider 'hard' fantasy, partly because of my limited visual imagination and partly because I think character tends to be sacrificed in favour of spectacle. I would rather watch fantasy than read it, particularly now that the technology is advanced enough to bring it across.

Galapagos Islands, the - Big tortoises come from there. I feel like I had a book as a kid about some little boy in the Galapagos Islands...or possibly just with a tortoise, I don't know, I can't find anything about it. Uh. Awesome animal life. *thumbs up*

I had a very exciting day today. I avoided cleaning, walked the dog with Mitchell, drove people around, and hung out with Jamie for a whole 45 minutes. He stopped playing Age of Conan and talked to me! I felt special.

Not graduating. Rather upset about it, actually.

How I know I'm spending too much time on LJ:
1. I only saw my first or second Doctor Who episode the other day, and yet when I saw the word 'ten' on its own recently I first thought not of the number but of David Tennant as the Doctor.
2. I'm not into incest, yet my flist is so inundated with it than when I saw link to a High School Musical Ryan/Sharpay mix recently my first thought was not 'that's so wrong, because they're brother and sister' it was 'that's so wrong, because he's so obviously gay.'
3. I WANT TO GO TO COMICON.

Better go see if I can get approved. And don't worry, I plan to do a Dom & Billy set, a Kaylee/Jewel set AND a Ginny Weasley set if I'm allowed.

And my headache want away! Yay.
