Rest In Peace Merv Otter
merv was a great guy from the Alt Bronze and he shall be missed dearly.
Before you hear it from anyone else: we talked to Mark Ferguson about slash.
HE asked US about it, and somehow fandom wanking and the whole deal came into it. The great thing is he encouraged us to write slash, said everyone was into their own things and really anybody who made fun of us for it was an idiot. We got into a real debate because we're both pretty argumentative, so I adore him now. And he was sucking on a lollipop the entire time. :D
Okay, as for the others, I finally met *everybody*--Ben, Warren, Joel and Mark included--and got hugs from Joel (and taught him to say "go kiss an orc" in Elvish), Mark (twice, and he's good at it), Jorn (once, and he's terrible at it), and of course Craig (four times--twice yesterday, twice tonight, and two with kisses.) Met Craig four more times tonight, and he was lovely again but probably a bit tired. I felt his jacket, asked him for Mark why he was living in England now, and Joel asked him to come over so I could say goodbye, which was not at all what I wanted. But I did get two goodbye hugs from him, one with a kiss which was nice.. Joel was really nice (drunk) tonight, I must have spoken to him for about an hour, and saw Sarah only once more. I love Warren, he's great. But they were all nothing compared to Mark.
He stayed outside and talked to all of us for hours about "slashwanking", some new term he has invented out of his curiousity about the ultimate question:
"Can you slash and wank at the same time?"
His words, not mine. While all the other guests wandered off to a private bloody function next to the pool and in another room, he stayed and talked to us the whole time. I was really grateful actually, he was great. He really looks at you when he's talking to you, which is interesting, and we had a very good discussion--and an intelligent one, I don't care what anyone else says, because there was no "you're wrong" bullshit. And I got some of his weird "martini with a twist" too!

natatree, the gorgeous naughtyevil, el_erzulie, blackrainbows etc. all night, which was kinda fun. About halfway through the guests all left and gave us a heart attack thinking they weren't going to come back. Catherine from uni was there today--I actually went early and just snuck in to watch the end of the auction, which was much more subdued than yesterday's. I wish I could have gone to the banquet! Apparently Joel and Craig sang.
There are some things I forgot to write about Dom's phone call yesterday. He was wearing leather straps at the time, and he was scrubbing plum and soy sauce off the floor in preparation for Billy arriving!!! Oh the slash.
Okay, back to tonight, you will soon all hear about a guy called Adrian, a waiter who became a star attraction largely as a result of the fact that we could actually take photos with him.
We gave "autographs", kind of thankyou letters, to a lot of the guys. Craig told us to write something incredibly funny so I quote the Python boys with "Your father smelled of elderberries and your mother was a hamster." Luke and Andree will tell you what they wrote. I wrote "Hope you have fun and lots of good roles in the future" to everyone, and lots of thankyous. Andree is now here to stay the night. We went to Elise's room to chat after Mark went.
Too tired to think of anything else to post about tonight, sorry! As for today, I went to Misha et al's to pick up some film she kindly let me have until I can pay her back and saw Nina, then went to see Adam and Ash at work. They couldn't work the scanner so I got a webcam photo taken of my Craig photo instead (which is now sitting in a frame on my shelf.) It was cool seeing them. Anyway, went shopping for phone credit, uni supplies since I lost my pencilcase, eucalyptus oil to get the gum out of my pants and bread afterwards.
ETA: LMAO, I just was checking my email and Jorn had replied at his forum! He must have gone online while I was typing this (at 4:30 am) from his hotel room!!!

Muahaha and might I add that was my lollipop! I was so thrilled because he was the only one of the guests to accept my lollipops. I offered one to Craig, Ben, Jorn and someone else methinks and none of them would take it *wibbles*
