Letters H-N from the Alphabet Meme:
H - Hobbits

When I hear the word "hobbits", actual 3-ft-tall people with hairy feet and a food obsession aren't what come to mind. I love Tolkien's hobbits most out of all the races, and skipped to those parts of the books featuring hobbits, and absolutely adore the Shire. When I think of hobbits, though, I think of Frodo, Sam, Merry and Pippin and Elijah, Sean, Dom and Billy interchangably. I can't imagine anyone else playing the roles, and when I refer to "the hobbits" I'm usually referring to the actors and not the roles. Even now, after watching Dom as Charlie on Lost and in a ton of other things, I still think of him as a hobbit first. Every time I see a picture of any combination of them, or hear about them hanging out together, it gives me the warm fuzzies. These are the guys I fell most in love with during the Rings heyday; these four silly, short, adorable actors who loved each other so much.
Also, Sam is my favourite character in 'Lord of the Rings', and one of my 5 favourite characters ever.
I - Ianto's stopwatch obsession

I don't know how much I can write about this. Clearly Ianto is a lot more creative than me; I thought the uses of a stopwatch pretty much start and end with keeping time. Ianto is adorably giddy when he gets to play with the stopwatch in the first place, and the fact that he uses a stopwatch to hit on Jack is hilarious and strange. I do wonder whether that was the first time they started the sexual part of the relationship - whether that was Ianto making the first move - or whether they were already fooling around before then. Also, what they did with the stopwatch. I like the way Ianto says stopwatch.
J - Josh Lyman

I don't know if I'm the only person who does this, but every so often I will fall in love with a character almost the first time I see them on screen - or at least in the first few episodes. Piz is one of those characters. Zoe is another. On 'The West Wing', it was Josh Lyman. I still haven't watched past the beginning of season 4 because I'm worried about season 5 sucking, but there's something about Bradley Whitford in this role that makes me absolutely adore him. When he's happy I smile; when he's sad my heart aches for him. Josh is so snappy and funny and dedicated to always trying to do the right thing. I love the way his hair protests against going bald by getting steadily crazier, and I love his dimples. His friendships with Sam and Leo are two of my favourites on the show, and Josh has such a way with words. Plus there's the Donna thing, which is fun. Most of all, though, I love that Josh has that honest face. IT's not something you'd think a politician would have, but just look at that cap up there. I think that might be my favourite moment of nearly the whole show (that I've seen).
K - Key to my heart

When I was young I used to like my fictional boys to be good guys, but somehow damaged or with a really dark past. While I still love Sirius more than anything, as I've gotten older I've really dropped the dark, tortured crap. I like good guys, and I think this is true in real life as well. I mean, obviously a sense of humour is important to me, and if a boy can cook it's a huge bonus, but if you show me a guy who's great with kids, or nice to animals, or a really good friend, I usually find that more attractive than pretty much anything else. It's said that good guys finish last, but they're my favourites. There are exceptions, of course - there has to be some kind of physical attraction there too, that kind of connection - but honestly, I watch a cute guy holding his kid up to see the tigers at the zoo and I melt.
L - Lost

There are much bigger 'Lost' fans than me on my friends list. I've barely rewatched any of it since the episodes first aired, especially since Charlie died. I still think it's much better TV than most people give it credit for, though. I get that people have their lives to get on with, but it's sad that people don't stick with shows like 'Lost', because the rewards are much better than if you're glued to the screen every week for something like 'The Big Bang Theory' (not that the show is bad, it's just that it doesn't have that epic storytelling.) A lot of the characters are really good, but it's also such an exciting show - little things you saw in season 1 pay off in season 5, and the finales are the best on TV. I haven't ever had a problem following the main concepts and themes of the show, although occasionally the minutiae is lost on me. I just wish they'd stop killing off everybody I like. It's just rude.
M - Michael Muhney

MUHNEY ♥__♥
This guy is my favourite celebrity I have ever met in real life. Over Dom, Joss, Peter Jackson, everybody. Now, to be fair, I got MUCH more time with Muhney than any of those guys, so the comparison isn't exactly even. Still, Muhney is one of the nicest and most attractive people I've ever had the privelege of meeting. I love the way he lives his life, and the way he interacts with and values his fans. He loves telling stories, too. I wish more people would see how great he is and cast him in more stuff (Dr. Horrible 2, please!) so that he could show off his talent more - he's by far the best thing about that show he's doing now, and I know he's capable of more than I've seen him do. This man is seriously made of awesome. With awesomesauce.

N - Noser

Noser is absolutely my favourite guitar-holding, lobster-loving, lyric-spouting, food-stealing laconic ventriloquist on any show, ever. I like the bizarro machine gun-firing version, too. He's not really a character, to be fair. He doesn't talk much, but he looks pretty adorable in a suit, and he's pretty darn lovable. He gets to say the kinds of lines Oz used to get on Buffy, only he's even MORE laid back than Oz ever was. Plus, he knows how to play EVERY SONG EVER (not that he ever does; he never actually plays guitar on the show, he just holds it.) He's a good antidote to the fast-speaking superhero world of Wendy and The Middleman, and everybody loves Noser.

Day 16 → A song that makes you cry (or nearly)
Well, music doesn't make me cry. I mean, it takes an awful lot of effort for a movie to make me cry, and I've never cried at a TV show, either. However, I don't think there are many songs in movies sadder than this one:
