Gimli:
- I was watching Thor and there was a big guy with a beard in it and I was like GIMLI! It didn't help that I kept thinking of Asgard as Isengard though, I suppose. Um, Gimli's ok. I'm not big on dwarves.
- I don't.
- Gimli/Legolas, obviously.
- I just don't really think about him that much.
- I with they'd made him a bit less comic-reliefy in the movies.

Weevil:
- I love Weevil until season 3, when he's really not very important or necessary.
- Um...I don't, really. I think Weevil/Logan is entertaining. I'm not a big shipper.
- Weevil/Veronica, natch.
- He should have just left after his awesomeness in season 2.
- Actually, it's sort of cruel, but if he had died it would have been realistic, interesting, and given Veronica something more personal and interesting to investigate in season 3.

Sarah:
- She's gorgeous and fierce and I like her even more now that she seems happy a lot of the time.
- Chuck. And Chuck, and Chuck.
- I love the Sarah/Ellie friendship.
- The wedding dress she picked was ugly. Is that unpopular?
- I wish the CATS episode had never, ever happened.

Santana:
- I don't like Santana as much as everyone else does, and I think what she did in Born This Way was manipulative and isn't actually going to improve things that much. She has an INCREDIBLE voice, though.
- Brittany.
- I really do think watching Santana interact with Blaine would be interesting.
- Um, basically everything I said in the first bit. She's cruel and a bully, and I need a lot more convincing before I like her. Although Landslide? AMAZING. Like, really, really amazing.
- I wish she'd just...calm down a bit.

Gunn:
- He's really hot in those season 5 suits. He's a little too jealous and his episodes were often kind of pointless, and he mostly features in my least favourite seasons of Angel, but I like his season 5 arc. Then again I like seasons 5 and 1 the best anyway. He's a good guy, I guess.
- I actually liked the chemistry between Gunn and Gwen.
- Gunn and Wesley always had the most interesting interactions.
- I just didn't care about him very much until season 5.
- I wish he had been less of a caricature at the start.

Gaila:
- I LOVE HER. Well, I love fanon!Gaila. The one who is sexy and smart and funny.
- Everyone ever.
- I like the idea of a Gaila/Chekov friendship, which was covered a lot in fandom. Or I guess Gaila/Scotty, since she'd be in engineering.
- I would happily watch the Gaila spinoff.
- I wish we'd seen more of her and that they'd confirmed she didn't die (because she obviously didn't, duh).

I think a lot of Weevil's sucky storylines & absenteeism were due to FC's RL issues. :/

Yeah, it was meh. I was kind of upset how they forced that issue, too. No, a woman doesn't have to be excited about her wedding. I didn't hate the CAT squad as much as you did. There's been stuff in the show that's been more offensive (in terms of objectification, anyway), & I felt like there was at least a little bit of self-mockery in it.

I feel like, once he becomes Fred's love interest, what happens to Gunn's character is what usually happens when a female character becomes a love interest -- her storylines become subsumed by the male character's storylines, and so the character becomes mostly irrelevant, because anything she says or does is about the male character.

Lol, I have 'anna wu lives' as an LJ interest. Maybe I should add 'gaila lives', too.

I think you're right about Gunn, but I still loved him in season 5.
