The Avengers on the cover of Entertainment Weekly. I also discovered last night that the secret filming name for The Avengers is "group hug" and there's stacks of photos of them filming in New York and being adorable.

Went to see kittysorceress in Avenue Q tonight and it was totally awesome! Very impressive production, easily the best amateur production I've ever seen. Also, there was a guy in it who she said had a Darren-as-Blaine look, and not only was she right, but it's also a guy I know because he's a friend of my sister's! I freaked out a little.

Today I watched The Tale of Despereaux

This movie was very cute but I feel as though it lost its focus along the way, and there was a lack of focus on the main character. It had this really interesting concept - that good people sometimes do bad things out of pain and grief - but then it also had straight-up bad guys that completely ruined that concept, and a straight-up good guy that kind of debunked it himself. Despereaux wasn't even introduced until 20-ish minutes into the hour-and-a-half long film, and he clearly wasn't the hero - but it was fairly unclear who the hero was.

It had a lovely art style and it looked super cute, though.
