I am just so bloody exhausted.
This morning I got up at 8 to go to work, where Luke had a cold, which kept me well and truly on my toes the whole time I was there. Fortunately I heard he gave Tom as much of a hard time in the afternoon session so HA! :p Then I went to PoA third viewing in the afternoon and Melissa's play at night, where two things clicked:
1. OMG! Purple monkey dishwasher!
2. Weird Sisters. I never connected the all-male band in the Harry Potter books to the creepy witches of Macbeth despite studying Macbeth three times, once earlier this year. How deeply stupid am I? Meanwhile, the Double Double Toil and Trouble bit had me giggling thinking about singing toads.
I can deal with them giving Hermione Ron's line in the Shrieking Shack, because they established Ron and Harry's friendship in CoS and this is the movie to establish Harry and Hermione's. However I can't condone him saying "He's got a point, you know" in response to Snape's "insufferable know-it-all" comment. He and Harry get really incensed by that comment in the books, and Ron HATES Snape. Meanwhile, I spent most of the first two-thirds this time waiting for Sirius, who I love more with every viewing. I caught a few continuity errors and things.
I also watched Parvati and Pansy in every shot they're in and dude, I think Lavender's black in that movie. In fact, the school seems to have a lot more black people in it than before, including that random boy who's supposed to be a Gryffindor 3rd year and yet can't possibly be because we know there's only Dean, Neville, Harry, Seamus and Ron. Devon Murray may be the worst actor I've ever seen, he's terrible.
Pansy, meanwhile, has a very 30's film-star thing going for her. She's very pretty and arrogant, and she's always got this feigned disinterest about her. She's COOL! It gives an interesting spin to her, I think.
I love Neville. I think Matthew Lewis has done a really good job with that role, he's completely Neville for me now. Even the accent makes perfect sense. And the twins in the Marauder's Map scene are just the cutest things, honestly, the way they finish each other's sentences.
I saw Alfonso's wife and baby in this one, and noticed the book Ian Brown was reading. I knew to look for the fan stuff :p I was keeping a closer eye on the paintings, background happenings, things like that. Made things interesting. I was still far too caught up in the Shrieking Shack scene to notice much, and I almost cried in the Harry and Sirius goodbye scene. I wish Harry had said "When can I move in?" and we could've seen Sirius's face light up before Lupin went loopy, though.
Sirius/Remus? Canon.
Geek items to buy: There and Back Again, Helm's Deep (OMG I want a Haldir figure so bad), Books 1-3 in French (which is the first thing on my list, actually, even though it's so expensive), and Merry. And when it comes out, a Sirius Black action figure. Eventually. *sigh* If I had money I would buy these to bobble and laugh. Ha! I would shout as I bobbled their little bobble heads.
Haircut on Tuesday. Don't let me forget.
Okay, 3 new icons and a couple of Dom pics from the Spidey premiere. Nothing special, if you want some really nice hi-res try
nuregwen, hers are lovely.

One day I will get this icon perfectly to my satisfaction. I think this is pretty good.

Low-res but pretty.

This is just really cute :)

Are you getting the feeling I like the happy smiling pictures?

You can see his gold pinky nail in this one.

Another one of him doing the hand motion :D

Okay, so I finally figured out what this one and its friends remind me of:

I saw a comedian woman on Rove miming sex. It looked like this. I kid you not.
By the pricking of my thumbs, something wicked this way comes
