sick, sick, sick, miserable and sick, and stupid computer's being a bitch.
Had you picked up that I'm not in too good a mood? Tried to set my scanner up, didn't work coz apparently it's not compatible with Windows NT. I got my film developed and it has lots of very cool pictures, but to those of you online, sorry, you won't get to see me with green hair until I get Justin over. Hopefully he won't be too mad at me for getting him to help me with computer problems again :S I got to uni early, as always on Wednesdays, and barely got through my first tute before rushing off to the pharmacy to buy tissues and lozenges and pick up my film. Went to the library for a bit, then met Phoebe for lunch. We ditched our Asian Studies lecture for a most unproductive reading session--unproductive coz we ended up playing the pants game (you know, where you replace a word in a sentence with pants. You can do it in movies too, for example: "A shadow and a threat has been growing in my pants."
"Pants, Potter?"
"You wish.")
Note on the wimple story: It'll get done, Tom, I promise. Maybe when I'm feeling better. Got an extension on my anth assignment. Mostly just spent the rest of the day feeling miserable.
Brief aside: who'd have thought Boy Meets World could be thought-provoking and affecting? (It's on nightly at 10 pm, I sometimes flick to it, which explains its occasional popping up in here.) I watched the cult episode today. Those of you who've seen it will know exactly what I'm talking about, because it's pretty hard to forget. I watched it when I was 12, and I hadn't forgotten any of it. Shawn joins a cult, and it's very, very creepy, and I really liked it. Sure it had that sugary quality, as well as that corny sitcom thing where everybody says exactly what they mean to say and they get right to the heart of the matter immediately (which really pisses me off, because who can really think when they're in a situation like that? I can't.) But the idea behind it was a good one, and I remain to this day surprised they were ever bold enough to do something like that on a kids' show.

...yeah I don't get it either. Although after changing an answer or two I became British like Mr Bean, which is just scary.

You like the slashy side to Dom. Its perfectly fine
with you if he's doing the (no-so)nasty with
Elijah, or whoever, and you spend most of your
time reading RPS. You love him for his 'its ok
to get cuddly with the boys' attitude.

Friday Five from last Friday
Yes, I do suck.
1. How many houses/apartments have you lived in throughout your life? ummm *mentally counts* 7, I think.
2. Which was your favorite and why? This one, definitely. The one in Korea was nice, it had carpeted stairs and it was HUGE, but it was so isolated. It made me sad.
3. Do you find moving house more exciting or stressful? More the moving country than the moving house causes stress. Moving house is fairly easy, but I tend to associate it with moving country, so it's all bad memories there.
4. What's more important, location or price? Who the hell cares? My parents paid all my life. Now, price...because I HAVE NO MONEY.
5. What features does your dream house have (pool, spa bath, big yard, etc.)? Um, a door. Windows. Curtains. Lots and lots and lots of Harry Potter merchandise. Nice neighbours and loved ones (friends, family, whatever) to share it with. Hate being by myself in a house for too long.
Link of the day is PimpWar. Hell, I can't work it out, maybe you can.
I'm trying really hard to be lazy with my pic of the day but it's so hard to find good pics these days. So look, cute little Frodo and Sam it took me 5 minutes longer to find than I would've liked. You want effort? Come back when I'm HEALTHY.
*sigh* nevermind, saw this pic and had to make the icon. Only took a second.
