Welcome to my first post from Butler.
Butler is my new computer, and my first ever male one. I got him this morning as a birthday present from my parents. He's a Moebius, and he's a great hulking thing with enough USB drives to sink a ship and a beautiful big screen, and he is *fast*. If you know who I name him after I'll give you a cookie :D
Clare has inherited Harmony, and Tom kindly lent me his zip drive so I can copy my D Drive onto Butler. Now I just need to figure out why Butler doesn't have his own D Drive already.
Today was so cool, everybody showed up to my party who was supposed to (even if some showed up late) and I got the coolest presents - a Gollum figure, photo frames, a book "1001 Movies You Have To See Before You Die", a Harry Potter throw, a Pink Panther t-shirt, a green journal and wallet, chocolate, Shrek 2, champagne glasses and more. So cool! My party was really, really fun, and afterwards T&N, Ash, Shemane, Melissa, Anthony, Nutty and Lea all came over to hang out, which was cool. And there was cake. I just had a really nice day. I even got to wear Tom's top hat! I should have given it back to him...but I didn't.
Unfortunately tomorrow I am not going to be able to do my assignment, which is a big, big problem. I have to be at home because of a delivery and because my parents will have both the cars. Unfortunately after that I will lose something like 10% off my mark, which is a BIG dip to take. I am very worried :( but there's really not much I can do about it except enjoy my afternoon tomorrow and write the very best assignment I can before the end of exam period next week.
