Today I had a dentist appointment and work and did a puzzle and watched Back to the Future 2.
Yesterday I saw Ocean's Twelve (very meh, Catherine Zeta-Jones gorgeous) and went to Lea's and played Boggle and talked about Harry Potter and Angel for about 3 hours.
Okay, now on to my next interest alphabetically:
AUSTRALIAN IDOL
I think most of you know I watch Aussie Idol religeously. This season my favourite was:
the adorable Marty Worrall, but he didn't win even though I voted for him. Casey did. I like her okay, but her CD looks kinda crap, to be honest. At least she's got some spirit and originality though, and a good set of lungs.
Last year my favourite was:
Guy Sebastian, who did in fact win the first Australian Idol. When he sings When Doves Cry I completely melt down. I went to see a Q&A and soundcheck of him last month. He's lovely in person.
I will not be watching next year without Dicko, but I'm happy to have seen what I did. On Idol, I also love:
Courtney Act, who first tried out as a man and then as a woman and got through to the semi-finals (should've been the finals, dammit!)
