Honestly, if they're going to do it no matter what anyone does or says, I wish they'd get it over with already, because the waiting's playing havoc with everything. And since it's basically inevitable at this point, it really seems like they're just prolonging the pain and agony of waiting, for everyone involved. Bloody insane bloodthirsty leaders, I swear.

Went to uni today, not much happened. Came home, not much happened. I got Yayed on the Bronze though which is neat :) and then I missed midnight, reread some VSDs, and then watched Labyrinth, Rove, and Angel. Rove's guests were all superbly famous yet superbly dull, though he did manage to liven it up as usual. The best part was the riders in G-strings. Many very nice ones in there. Discovered that Kylie has *gasp* a sense of humour, when Rove presented her with a photo of his impersonation of the Can't Get You Out Of My Head video (Rove in a sheet, very funny) and she responded with "This is going straight to the pool room." Americans and Brits, go buy an Aussie slang dictionary and then rent The Castle. It's the funniest Australian movie ever made, and with a shoestring budget too.
Tonight's Angel eppy was Spin the Bottle, thank Joss, b/c everything was getting far too icky for me and we needed the interlude. The return of Teen!Cordy was awesome, Gunn's just....being Gunn-like, Wesley was acting too old, and even Angel had a few genuinely funny moments. And as futher proof that Conner is Oedipus, how about that line from the hooker? "Why don't you go home, maybe Mommy's got a special treat for you." Unfortunately that means that Slouching Towards Bethlehem is soon, which, despite VERY shibby pyrotechnics and one of the best titles ever, is the beginning of The Ew. Spoilers for later in season 4 below...
I'm trying to work out exactly *when* Cordy turns evil. Anyone got any theories? I might ask at the Alt later.

Geoshitties sucks ass, and Gale Harold may have the best face-body combination of everybody, ever.

I've been spending much time downloading Queer as Folk clips and looking at pictures. Gale Harold and Fab Fillippo are so unbelievably beautiful, but Gale's face just *kills* me. I only need to look at pics of him crying after Justin got bashed, or his face when he's recalling the incident and blaming himself, and I feel like crying myself. Which of course has nothing to do with my love for Justin, because I hate him. I mean, seriously, who the hell gets a choice between those two guys? They're both just *so* amazing. I'd be completely Michael if I knew Brian in real life, coz okay, he's an ass, but he'd just need to do his vulnerable face and I'd be lost in him again. Rant, rave, blah blah blah.
Best moments on the show:
1. The first moment that really got me was when Brian took Justin in rather than making him stay with his homophobic bastard father.
2. The party Brian threw for Michael, as an attempt to make up for then pushing Michael away at Debbie's request.
3. The opposing joy and total devastation of the prom night. That whole season 1 ending: Brian showing up at the prom (looking SO good,) the dance, Justin's face just as he's about to get hit, Brian's reaction, Brian sobbing over Justin in the carpark, Brian completely lost, crying, with Michael sitting there having missed his plane to take care of his best friend.
4. Brian explaining to Justin what happened, the look on his face, and Justin's "It's not your fault."
5. Brian in a cowboy hat and not much else.
6. The wedding
7. George the Old Pickle Guy's death. See, not a Brian/Michael/Justin moment! I do watch the rest of the show too y'know.
8. Ethan Gold's first appearance, followed by the violin music as Justin sees Brian again. Lovely depiction of Justin's inner and outer self.
9. This hasn't happened in Oz yet, but (highlight for spoilers) when Ben's sick in hospital and Brian comes to take care of Michael, saying "You're strong enough for both of us." Spoilers done.
10. Every and any scene with half-naked or naked Brian. Yeah, it's like that.

Went to uni, skipped my Jap tute again (yeah yeah yeah, I'll go next week and won't miss another tute,) did my readings, saw Peter, Niels and Phoebe, went to Asian Studies lecture (FUCKING BORING!!! Ended up writing VSD quotes all over my notes), went to Anth tute (it's chaos in there, the tutor's soft-spoken, nervous and shy, so we just all talk over each other with no structure the whole time.) Received an email from Tom. Did absolutely nothing else.

Hair update: Approx. the colour of a lemon-lime splice. Am most worried it will soon fade to piss-green. Must dye soon!

Link of the day is The Original Queer as Folk Webring. Most of the sites are crap, but a few fanfic ones, Always Be You, and Ethan's site (called Exhale Slowly) are all excellent. The last one has some great video clips, Michael/Brian/Justin centric, of course. *sigh* there aren't a lot of Ethan/Justin shippers out there. Ooh, do you like my new header by the way, Xanga users? It probably won't be up long.

Pics of the day are in the Queer as Folk vein. No LotR boys for a while, not while I have this stuff to entertain me. Today, a big Gale Harold special (until I find more Ethan pics!!) Please note, all of these are hosted at Village Photos gallery and so they will probably eventually have to be deleted to free up space. So steal them and host them somewhere that isn't a shitty free webhosting service like Geoshitties or Tripod or something and I can keep em!
