X2 was so incredibly cool!!!

I went to see X2 today with Tom, Nina, Ash, Alicia, Sonya and Liz. It was *really* good. And I discovered I had more money than I did before! Without giving anything away, Shawn Ashmore had a lovely big part in this and I so love him, Ian McKellan was cool, Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler was *amazing*. After I saw that Tom and Ash came over and we watched Smallville and Survivor, which was cool. I like Christy. They also discussed taking over my house for a bit to watch Hellsing and Akira and The Rings, all of which I'm getting on TransACT. And comics, but I'm not too good with them. I also convinced them that the HoYay was real, and erm..."made" coffee. It was fun :D:D That's about my day wrapped up. Either tomorrow or the day after I have to go in to Civic to do some research for my Asian Stuies assignment...probably tomorrow, because I'm going out Friday night and it'd be annoying to have to go out, come back and go out again. And...yep! That's it.

Okay, back now. Where were we? Hmm, link of the day. Well, I'm on an Iceman kick today (I actually said "The iceman cometh" at one point in the movie and had been waiting for *ages* to say it but nobody heard it or were amused by it *sniffles*) so today's Link is The Ashmore Archives. I'm kind of at a loss for Pics of the Day. Hopefully something will come to me after I've read the Omar G summary of the most recent US Smallville. Hehe, Omar G's funny. *pouts* Lex is getting married! Not fair! And there was no Gayest Look of the Episode!! Okay, I really should have figured that the only inspiration I'd get from Omar G is Clex, but I can't really find much. I'll build it up and do another special later.

So bloody cold, I swear, my right hand is going to fall off.

Today was another boring day in which I did nothing. Lots of daytime TV. I swear, if I see one more show about people who used to be fat I'll smash the TV. I miss Jerry Springer!! My mum and sister went AWOL for a while. First Mum couldn't find Clare, then she took her to get her finger X-rayed. It's not broken, just ligamentally torn. Accidentally watched Big Brother while waiting for Charmed to come on to tape for Clare (which it didn't, grr.) Watched Will and Grace. Fun fun fun!! I did get to watch Art Attack. Does anyone else remember that show? This guy in a red jumper with a British accent used to host it, and he'd make these huge pieces of art with all different materials. It's really cool. *geek* He made a portrait of the queen out of money. Well, I was excited anyway. I desperately need a life. While searching for the Pics of the Day at a site which will soon be my link of the day I discovered something rather disturbing. There aren't many slashy posts at this place. As in, the pic with Viggo and Karl in bed got only responses of "plez tell me they r not gay!!! vig has a son!" and "it says men want me...but if it says that...then y is ian (McKellan) wearing that?" and similarly scary fangirl postage. I just want to know what people would find more disturbing...well-written, intelligent slashy comments, or that drizzle? *biased and disturbed*

3. Favorite obscure pairings? Geez, obscure...*ponders* Draco/Ginny (HP) amuses me somewhat.

4. Pairing you won't read no matter how well written? Potter fics. All of them. I am writing one, but it's a *joke*, and it's Tom's plotbunny anyway.

5. Pairing you used to dislike, but grew to like or vice-versa? I used to only like Lij/someone pairings, but I've ventured into Dom/Orli territory. Also, Lamblove and Monaboyd (Dom/Billy,) but only coz there's so much out there that's so will written you can't avoid it all.

6. Does it matter to you if your pairings ever get recognition by TPTB? Frodo and Sam is canon, I tell you! I'd like to see Clex happen but it won't. Otherwise, not really.
