It's very, very warm down here in Canberra and it suits me just fine.
We're in 20+ celsius weather, and there's a storm outside, and for the first time ever I think it's actually warmer at night than it was in the daytime. But it was pretty damn warm in the daytime too, I sat at the busstop for about 20 minutes just enjoying the weather (back when it was sunny and I'd just handed in my assignments and was feeling very pleased with myself.) I hate that moment just after you drop your assignment in the chute and suddenly think of a million things that may have gone wrong.
I watched Oz Idol, Queer as Folk and the Emmys tonight (and some Six Feet Under in the ad break--it's a genuinely good show, I wish I could get more into it.) I was going to go to Nina's but that didn't end up happening.
I HATE AUSTRALIA!!!! Grr, my favourite Idol left--Peter the Pig Farmer--was voted out, even though I voted for him *miserable* that's my drag queen AND my pig farmer gone. I'm more or less clinging to Cle now, because she's about my only favourite left--I reckon we're gonna see Millsy and Paulini as the top 2 though. They're good, but I don't like them as much as the others *pouts incessantly* I cried in Queer as Folk, even though I KNOW that Justin gets whacked and Brian goes to the hospital and cries. Brian dancing with that damn white silk scarf (both times) is probably the hottest thing I've ever seen on TV--with the possible exception of a couple of Smallville's Gay Looks of the Episode.
