Today has been an excellent day.
This morning I went to work, which wasn't too good because I was tired but I did score some extra work for tomorrow morning. I got a call from the French Australian Preschool about maybe getting some work there, I have to call back tomorrow--that's exciting!! Then I went to see Pirates again (I even wore a bandana this time!) and loved it again. Johnny Depp is so fucking hot in that movie, I swear, sometimes I can't breathe. I love the "impersonating a cleric" part and Will and Jack's synchronised fighting at the end, just before everybody decides they Love Jack Sparrow. I want an icon of them doing that saying "theirloveissosynchronised"!
Tonight I watched Idol, and Lauren was kicked out, for which I am truly thankful. I cannot stand that girl. I was sad to see Cle go though--how cool was she when Lauren choked at the end? Guy *killed* me with his absolutely beautiful rendition of Everything I Do last night, so I was very happy to see him (and all the other boys) stayed in--except Levi. Does he think he's Justin? Because he canNOT pull that off. Also watched Queer Eye for the Straight Guy--those boys are unbelievably adorable, although fortunately I didn't find myself actually attracted to any of them. Then, of course, Queer as Folk, first ep of Season 2 (When are we getting season 3 already?!?) I nearly cried twice in the one episode, and it's ALL BRIAN'S FAULT. He is so fucking hot, man. Brian, Dom and Jack Sparrow.

I do have family visiting, and they're homophobic and really, really pissing me off because Monday night is Big Queer Night on TV for me. I mean, granted, the kid is only about 10 years old, but his immaturity is really starting to piss me off. If he makes one more comment about fags I'll smack him across the room, and his sister's not much better--though she thinks she is. I am trying to get along with them because I know they'll probably be family soon, but they're so bloody infuriating.
Okay, Link of the Day is House of Usher, which is updated and TOM USED MY LIVEJOURNAL ADDY...but people will be looking here for naked college professors, which I don't have. Sorry. Just sexy hobbits ad pirates and sometimes elves.
Okay, pics of the day are some icons--the second set of bases is byskint and I would REALLY appreciate if anyone with animation could just animate them together for me, maybe with white fadey effects or something in between. I'd be REALLY grateful. Thankyou!
