Man, I am so tired I may well fall asleep on the keyboard while typing this.
Okay, last night I went to bed way too late as I usually do, and then this morning at 8 am people started working in my garden. Outside my bedroom window. With drills and trucks, and I was like, ARRG! I went to the study to try to get more slepe but didn't manage it :( then I decided I was fat, so I'm starting to actually exercise. Who wants to take bets on how long that will last? I also vaccuumed and stuff.
Went to uni in the full knowledge that it was going to rain, but didn't manage to get an umbrella. When I got there it had just started spitting, but then we all went off to see Niels's performance (and I mean all--full gang). And it POURED. I mean, the heavens opened up and dumped on us. Our five minutes running through the rain meant we were absolutely and completely soaked through when we got to Niels's recital thingie. It was really good, I've seen him play before but it never ceases to amaze me. so Props and Hugs to Niels! for your excellent performance! Plus, he looked totally shaggable in the suit.
Afterwards we all hugged him in an effort to get him as wet as we were, with no luck. What with the frequent crossing of the uni grounds afterwards to get back to the bar, eat, and then go help Tom pack, I stayed wet for the next 4 hours or so. With all the walking, running and lifting I did today I'll be shit sore tomorrow :S Tom lost his glasses, and we had to pack up, which is actually always something that upsets me a lot. Mostly just memories. Tom and I ended up sitting in his room, both too exhausted to carry a decent conversation. I was being avoidy too, which didn't help. But we discovered the wonder of doors.
Tonight I came home and called people. I miss my Colin :( it's been ages since I saw him. Watched Pelican Brief. I really like that movie because of (ironically) Julia Roberts--I like the metamorphosis from a scared little girl to a really strong woman that she goes through in the movie, when she realises it's about other people than herself and gains a lot of confidence. It's a very tidy movie and it doesn't mind taking us away from the leads every now and then, which I also like. Plus, Denzel Washington is HOT. Damn.
