I've been sick for the last two days with some weird bug that makes me feel all weak and dizzy and gives me a fever but has no other symptoms. Very strange. So I decided to read book 5 of Series of Unfortunate Events instead of updating. New ongoing characters OMG!

I saw Finding Neverland yesterday (my sister's birthday, and also Australia Day.) It was very, very good, the kids and Johnny Depp were all great. Kate Winslet was very good but her character annoyed me somewhat, dunno why. My favourite is probably Julie Christie (who is still gorgeous btw) as Kate's mum, very cool. Anyway, beautiful movie.

Today I did pretty much nothing, mostly slept. Exciting, isn't it? On with the interests meme!

LOST

This couldn't have come at a better time, because Lost starts next week in Australia and I want EVERYBODY on my friends list in Oz to watch it, regardless of whether or not you're a Dom fan, because it's an excellent, QUALITY show. at the very least watch the pilot, which is on either Tuesday or Thursday of next week. Reasons to watch Lost )

I looked at my userinfo right now and was surprised at how many people are there who have friended me that I haven't friended back. If you are one of said people, PLEASE let me know who you are!

Yesterday morning I woke up to discover that the air had taken on all the proportions of water.

I was forced to swim out of my bed against the current - I had woken up later than my family and the traffic seemed to be flowing my way. I managed to force my way through, but eating breakfast was a significant challenge. The cereal refused to stay in the bowl and the milk started to mix with the air, floating through it to make complex patterns. Fortunately my puppy, who is quite adept at doggy-paddling, managed to drink it all, but I almost made a complete mess of the walls and ceiling.

Of course all my normal clothes suddenly felt significantly heavier, weighted down by the heavier air, so I was forced to swim to a makeshift store down the road where I bought clothes made entirely of scales. Feeling much more comfortable I hitched a ride home in a passing submarine.

The entire world looked incredible, the trees' branches moving slowly and languidly, leaves drifting away rather than falling. Everything looked brighter, shinier, including the sun, but somehow less sharp. Animals pulled their owners along on leashes and you could hover comfortably to watch television.

There was total bedlam at the cinema, where people were swimming over the heads of the ticket collectors rather than buying tickets. Each theatre was filled with laughter, people able to swim as close to or far from the screen as they wished.

Suddenly, at five p.m, I heard a strange and almighty roar of drainage. Slowly the air changed from thick to its normal thinness, and we all drifted back down on our feet, slightly saddened by the sudden end to the madness.

Dom in Rolling Stone.

Boyd reports, "Dom's really good about letting you stay at his house, but when you're trying to watch a movie, he does insist on walking around the house in the nude and making cereal."

LMAO! *dies, and is dead*

The show's ensemble seems cheerful and has good camaraderie. Monaghan enjoys the fake voice mails he trades with Abrams: "I call up as his Indian chiropractor, he'll call me as a gay DJ from Orange County and I'll call him back as a German professor wanting to get his waist measurements. I think that's going to continue for years."

No wonder JJ hired him.

I'm not sick anymore yay!

Was supposed to go get uni sorted today but Mum had my car keys, which kinda sucked. So I mostly read a lot of stuff and tried, fruitlessly, to get some info online for uni. Augh. *tears out here*

Tomorrow and Sunday I've got this first aid course to do which will take ALL DAY both days. It will probably kill me. Okay, that's being very melodramatic, it'll probably only maim me or something.

Today's interest is probably my most favourite interest of all!

LOTRIPS

Otherwise known as hobbits, elves and men getting all smoochy with each other )
