Every so often Firefox shuts down after a download has finished.

I don't know why this is, but it pisses me off. Firefox has decided it doesn't like when I rightclicksave, which results in either immediate closure for pictures or eventual for songs. Bitch. Still, it's better than the alternative.

You know you've been working with kids too long when the highlight of your day is that the new "Elmo's World" DVD is about Sesame Street and contains archive footage of the show as well as new stuff. They had Ernie singing "Dance Myself to Sleep" and cut to a bunch of celebrities (including the girls of The West Wing, Venus Williams, Dr. Phil, Larry King, Chris Meloni, Julianne Moore, Norah Jones and OMG SETH GREEN) dancing to the song. I love Bert and Ernie - Bert really didn't do anything to deserve the horror that would be having Ernie as a roommate. But so much love! They're such a couple...even if they do sleep in separate beds. The colours are gorgeous on Sesame Street now!

Link of the Day: Possible Batman sequel villain. I could go for that.

Call me corny, but I really like these songs. For a band made up of actresses in a B-grade (but adorable) movies they don't do too bad a job of things.

Apparently there's another Elizabethtown trailer floating around the internets. Does anyone know where it is? Got it! New Elizabethtown trailer. Hee, like looking in a mirror. Orlando's accent is actually not as awful as it could be. He's so cute! And he's acting and dancing and flopping and...and...and I *like* him. The world has gone mad. *puts up umbrella, waits for rain of toads and other signs of the apocalypse*

This is the song used in the Elizabethtown trailer I linked day before yesterday. I'm in love with it. I downloaded it yesterday; I've listened to it 10 times. It's so gorgeous and it makes me think of the trailer which makes me happy.

Okay, on to the rest of my day. Woke up at 12 and realised I was meeting Nutty for coffee at one, which was pretty cool. Discovered I have $930 in my bank account (very good!) Also went for a walk with the family and played Monopoly with them this evening. I think Mum's feeling neglected since Clare and I are going away next week. And DAMMIT I forgot to watch the Dalek episode of Doctor Who tonight. *headdesk*

Mackenzie Astin is hot. *molests him*

Joss wrote this, because he's talented like that. I really like the theme from Firefly, it's well suited to the show and much easier to listen to than the Buffy or Angel themes. On iTunes it sounds really good if you follow this up with My Father's Gun.
