I spent all my free time today listening to Deathly Hallows read by Stephen Fry. I only have up to chapter 8 & The Silver Doe (which I've listened to five times already, I swear.)

So, today sucked. I had SO much trouble with the damn car.

I finally went to get the radio fixed, but the code they gave me was the code we already had, and first they gave me a number that wasn't even a code but was like the fax number. Then while I was there the car decided to act all wonky, and there was something wrong with the engine, and they took another hour and a half fixing that. I was so flustered by the time I left that I LEFT MY BAG THERE. I had planned to buy petrol on the way home at a place near my house, but by the time I realised I'd forgotten my bag I didn't have enough petrol to go back and get it. I had no money and no access to money, because I didn't have my wallet or house keys. I had to wait for Clare to come home and get her to borrow $10 from her friend just to get enough petrol to go back out. It ended up taking 4 1/2 hours and the RADIO STILL ISN'T FIXED!

I have an awesome outfit for Mum's Op Shop birthday party tomorrow night, though. It's a white waistcoat with a matching bow-tie. I think it's awesome.

I've done this before, but I need some fun fandom distraction because today was incredibly stressful and I am stressed.

I guess it's finally my turn to not receive comment notifications. Woe.

I feel so much better tonight after having made some icons and talked to Tom. I did have some nice things happen today, I had lunch with Anthony and bumped into Nutty, who is a whore for not stopping to talk to me, or calling me ever. So that was fun. It was just the rest of the day that sucked.

I reposted the link to my LotR boytouching spam at boy_touching today and then lost 20 minutes looking at all the pictures again myself. I also showed one of Clare's friends the Hans Jensen interview tonight. I really want to watch Lord of the Rings again now, with all the extras. I love those boys so much. Especially Dom.

Preview of the Serenity Collector's Edition (which I pre-ordered in spite of my total lack of money, because LOOK AT THAT BABY. Rawr.

Cute D.B. Woodside (Principal Wood) interview that talks about Buffy a bit. The stuff about Faith made me happy. I always liked Principal Wood - he was the son of one of my favourite previous slayers.

I have gotten a handful -- a number of marriage proposals over the mail. I'm not quite sure how to react to them. I can understand -- I'm a big believer in love at first sight. But marriage at first sight might not be a wise thing to do.

Who the fuck let Pauline Hanson back in politics? Actually I saw this coming for ages, she's been building up her 'celebrity' status with Dancing with the Stars and various other things. At least the Chaser boys are still on her back. Who the HELL would still support her whiny, racist ass?itic
