(no subject)

I am so looking forward to having a nice, quiet week where I'm not constantly running around working, party planning or doing things for people. I am tired.

Friday was interesting, I didn't end up getting the cleaning I wanted done in the morning before catching the bus to Sydney. Melissa's flight was delayed and she had the My Chemical Romance concert tickets, so Tom and I had dinner and beer while waiting. We were an hour and a half (ish?) late to the concert and missed pretty much nothing. I saw cinnamontwist and ladyminya before & after the concert, and MCR were fucking awesome. Pyrotechnics! And Gerard making orgasm noises and Ray being all cuddly. I'm kind of pissed off that both times I've seen the band someone was missing - this time it was Bob. When the show started we were on Ray's side and I made Melissa move to the other side so we could watch Frank, because we didn't see him last time. Really good show.

Then Saturday we woke up early to come back and I spent the day cleaning, buying stuff, preparing and picking up people for the party. I spent a good deal of the beginning of the party running around making things work and cleaning up spills and broken glass, but it went pretty well for the most part. My costume was successful and lots of people came, I got to see friends I haven't seen in ages. There were a few pikers, but it went okay.

Today I cleaned more, hung out with Jamie, and then went for dinner with the family, Mitchell and Kyle. And now I must sleep. Sleeep. Photos forthcoming.
