On 'Star Trek' viewing #4

This comment from truffle_shuffle solidified something in my mind. I couldn't think of when I'd felt like this about a movie and its cast before, and now I have it: Lord of the Rings. A gorgeous cast, all with brilliant chemistry, in a beautiful, wonderful, geeky movie that takes the source material to a whole new level of awesome! I love them. I could do without all the stalkerazzi, though. Makes me uncomfortable, even if there are hula hoops and slippers.

It's official. I've totally lost my soul to Star Trek. I have ten icons! Ten! This is getting ridiculous.
Still, aren't my new ones pretty? I got them at this awesome Star Trek icon post. PINTO ICON.
By the way, I have a theory that the not!Cloverfield monster was not trying to kill Kirk, but mate with him. That explains why it didn't eat the first monster (it wasn't hungry for food) and why it kept chasing after him even after falling down that ice cliff. Clearly Kirk is far too irresistable for his own good.
