I am undisputed Jedi Master of the Playground.
Not so easy when your lightsabre is a yellow shovel and you have three 6 year old boys trying to take you on at once, one of whom is attempting to be General Grievous by whacking you repeatedly with four shovels. I went through several characters; I was told I was General Grievous before I informed them that I was a REAL Jedi thankyouverymuch, after which I became Darth Vader, Darth Sidious (because Darth Vader was too cool a character to be taken by me), Leia, Luke, Obi-Wan, Anakin (while fighting Darth Vader) and, to my befuddlement, Han Solo.
Also not so easy when you're simultaneously watching an autistic 5-year-old. And it's all of about 7 or 8 degrees centigrade.
So work was interesting and now I am exhausted.
Who else thinks Mischa Barton is foul?
Damn, I LOVE this episode. Seriously, it may well be one of my favourites. I just love Daniel Dae Kim in it, he breaks my heart and moves Jin right up the list of my favourite characters.
I couldn't help thinking "Han and Chewie!" every time I saw Michael and Jin together - I love the way their relationship will develop. But the whole thing is amazing, the language barrier (and seeing it from Jin's perspective!) and the intensity. But really, I don't know why everyone just stood there and let Michael beat the shit out of Jin. That was stupid.
Also? Best episode ending EVER. Hurley running out of batteries is genius, because I bet EVERY SINGLE VIEWER was all "How can he STILL have batteries?!" AHAHA.
Link of the Day: Aren't you glad you're not living in 1951?
And also, how to deal with customers according to
foolishprince. READ THIS NOW. And read right to the end, because that's where the payoff really is.

Song of the Day: Thriller by The Stone Roses
Anyone who covers Thriller has to be awesome. I love The Stone Roses right now.

(for the record, i like bugs. and spiders. (i must have read "charlotte's web" at an impressionable age or sumptin) but snakes?? eeeww. nope nope nope. not on a bet. has to do with an eeevil ex-step brother... nasty things...
and your pics of andrea are faboo. she is shockingly better looking in person (and i didn't think that was possible, because she's so pretty in her pics) she's also a tiny little slip of a girl, and a fire cracker on the dance floor. watching her shake the money maker to "shake it like a polariod picture"... teh funny.
and thanks again for all the totally cool pics you post. they rock muchly!!!
kerry =)

Oh, so you've come across that horror-booklet from '51, huh? I started out trying to just laugh it off, and I think I did okay for a while with that determination, but after a while I just got incredibly pissed off. It took about an hour of Shoebox Project re-readings to get my blood pressure back to a normal level.
Re: the pics-
Andrea Gabriel is, indeed, flipping gorgeous. And OH MY GOD DOM YOU HAVE GOT TO STOP THE BUG BEING ON YOUR FACE, YOU HAVE TO STOP IT RIGHT THIS MINUTE. ARGH. *covers eyes and runs away*

She, who is quite homophobic and hates my liesure attitude towards it...was thoroughly appauled by the chapter on that. That's pretty bad when a conservative woman like my grandmother who has grown up with some seriously harsh and closed minded moral fiber instilled into her without mercy can disagree with that book. I'm in shock...
Women who masterbate become stupid?! Women should be able to tell a boy no because we are not as affected by sex as they are?! Rather than indulge in masterbation a girl should consider being circumsized?! *utter shock*
WHO THE F**K WAS THIS SON OF A..... *will be calm...will not pull out knife and stab him repeatedly*
I'm not going to get into his utterly confused opinions about homosexuality or a woman's "place" in life....but damn it I have to on that one thing!
A woman's place and ultimate goal is a homemaker? Uhm...no. Although I would love to be a stay at home mom...bills would say otherwise...and well, I'd have to find a husband...not in my plans for any kind of near future. However, according to this skidmark stain...women should be married by the time they reach their early 20's and should not enjoy sex, but rather should only enjoy that her husband is satisfied! WTF?!
and uhm...some of us...like me...are unable to achieve that "ultimate goal" of motherhood. Some of us are physically unable to do that! Some of us watch all of our friends have kids and our cousins and siblings...and we have to face the fact that this will never happen for us! So what does that mean? Does that mean I am worthless because I can't pop out kids? Should I just resign to an old maid and never consider marraige because I can't have babies? He never covered that topic...I suppose because his head can't see female infertility conditions being lodged so far up his own ass!
He's so f*cking backwards and the really scary part is a) he was a gynocologist b)he actually published this book c)it actually sold because parents were too damn scared to face their kids that they left it to some jack-off who apparently knows NOTHING about women! d)this book carried an entire generation of women...and some wonder why women were so angry throughout history.
hmm... I'm annoyed...not the only one either...
Sorry...just had to vent...that book should burn in the depths of hell with that creep that wrote it!
