You know what? this person is completely right! I def. didn't think of that, but no wonder the Ginny/Harry thing annoyed me so. Well, besides the fact that he hasn't given her a second thought in years. But I can totally grasp the concept of Ginny as JK's Mary-Sue, though I wouldn't go as far as to say that she's an immature writer or anything. And who wouldn't want to have some nice, attention grabbing, flaming red hair?

Ginny isn't JK's self-insertion into the books, Hermione is. She's said so, often.
I don't think it's true he hasn't given her a second thought. They had that scene in the library in the fifth book when I was thinking "huh, something could develop here."

I'm not sure about your favorite Angel character - maybe Lindsay? - but for Family Matters I'm gonna have to go with Urkel. Simply because Urkel IS Family Matters. It is all about Teh Urkel.
