From [livejournal.com profile] nentari:

The object of the game is to stump the person writing the journal. I've been writing in my live journal for over a year, and can't possibly remember all the topics I've talked about in that time.

Your job, if you choose to accept it, is to go into the archives of my journal and pull out a random quote from some time, some year, and then my job will be to see if I can remember what I was talking about. You tell me if I'm remotely right or wrong.

Nope, I can't peek, and you'll have to trust I won't. :)

Please don't pick a quote that's so random that it could apply to anything, like "feh" or "Damn it!" or something equally generally. Pick something that might actually be about something, but not so blatantly about something that I'll have to guess what I'm talking about.

From [livejournal.com profile] truffle_shuffle:

Look at your LJ "interests" list. If you have less than 50 interests, pick every fifth one. If you have between fifty and seventy-five interests, pick every seventh one. If you have over seventy-five interests, pick every tenth one. If you have fewer than ten, pick all of 'em. List them on your LJ, and tell everyone exactly what it is about these things that interests you so much.

1. Cheese

Erm. This is mostly an in-joke between Yukako and myself involving metaphors for sex. Also, cheese is delicious.

2. Eliza Dushku

My only really serious girlcrush, a.k.a my "I'm gay for..." girl. Eliza Dushku is incredibly hot, but I actually think she's also a half-decent actress. Faith is one of my all-time favourite characters (again, partly for the sex factor) and she seems really sweet. I love her facial expressions.
YOU MUST SEE: Her stint as Faith on Angel, Bye Bye Love (Baby!Eliza)

3. Green

I just like the colour. A lot. It occurs to me that my interests are boring.

4. Jake and Maggie Gyllenhaal

The hottest siblings in showbusiness! I like Jake more because, hi, straight, but both of them are sexy and talented. I stuck them together in my interests because they seem to be really close, which is adorable. They're both very comfortable with themselves. I love that Jake is kind of goofy as well as being incredibly hot, because that always appeals to me, and that both Maggie and Jake can be either indie darlings or appeal to the mass market.
YOU MUST SEE: Donnie Darko, Secretary, and Brokeback Mountain when it comes out.

5. LOTR RPS

I don't know why I'm so much more into the actors than the characters in most of my fandoms (Lost, Lord of the Rings, not Harry Potter because I'm a purist). Probably because of Dom. Either way, all the naughty thoughts provided by Dom and the LotR cast, their comments about each other and all their touchy-feely goodness, had to come out somewhere. Then I discovered RPS fanfiction and my world was complete.

6. Music

My tastes in music are varied and kinda dorky. You can find some stuff by one of my favourite bands, Cat Empire, here. My iTunes is a collection of oddities, essentially, but here and there exists some pretty cool stuff by anyone's standards. I'm particularly fond of Rufus and Martha Wainwright, Matchbox Twenty and The Beatles.

7. Sayid Jarrah

Yeah, hi, I run Naveen-Andrews.net, remember? Naveen plays Sayid, the incredibly sexy and techno-savvy former communications officer in the Iraqi Republican Guard on Lost, my favourite TV show still on the air.

8. Slash

Damn straight I'm all about the boy-on-boy love. As Heath Ledger put it, all the straight love stories seem recycled these days. And also less hot. Well, for me anyway. The best part about it is that these days, boys are slashing themselves.

9. Wil Anderson

Wil is an Australian comedian and host of the ABC show The Glass House. He wears thongs (flip flops, not the underwear) and nail polish and he has the strangest laugh ever. He's teh sex.

The quote:

I'm sick of people bitching and whining about a movie that hasn't come out yet..

Good luck. :)

There are probably extreme orthodontists who the other orthodontists think make them look bad!

From: [identity profile] framianne.livejournal.com

I'm a purist by nature, I think.

I'd like to add that I really liked the post where I found this, btw. :)

That would be when I was filming for my assignment for Directing for the Camera class. That phrase is forever etched in my memory *shudders*

From: [identity profile] green-queen.livejournal.com

I've actually said that a lot...but I was probably talking about Harry Potter. I'm a total Harry Potter purist. That or Buffy.

Terrorism. Muslim extremists and why we shouldn't judge all Muslims by them.

From: [identity profile] framianne.livejournal.com

Well, the post tangentially touched both subjects, but the post was mainly about a more general subject...want to try again or should I tell you? :)

From: [identity profile] green-queen.livejournal.com

Fanfiction? Fandom? Oh, fuck it, just tell me. Oh, and what post was it? I'd like to look over it... *ponders*

From: [identity profile] nentari.livejournal.com

Nope - the message is similar, but the topic wasn't as controversial as terrorism (at least not for me, though I know people who might disagree). Want to have another shot?

From: [identity profile] green-queen.livejournal.com

Erm. I suck at this. I mean, it's obviously extremist *something*, but I can't imagine what.

From: [identity profile] framianne.livejournal.com

The post in question is this one (http://www.livejournal.com/users/green_queen/194330.html), about slash and canon. And a very good post it is, in my opinion. :)

From: [identity profile] nentari.livejournal.com

Well, it was a post about fangirls, and how they're viewed so negatively due to some extreme fans.

From: [identity profile] green-queen.livejournal.com

Oh, that was an interesting post. I like it.

Erm, quite :) thanks! And yes, I agree, supporting Remus/Tonks and Remus/Sirius is TOTALLY possible. Sirius is dead. I wish people would get over it.

From: [identity profile] framianne.livejournal.com

I still haven't gotten over his death, actually *g*, but I see no reason why it wouldn't be possible for Remus to find someone else. And I LOVE him and Tonks together, despite my icon, lol.
(It was too funny not to use it!)

From: [identity profile] green-queen.livejournal.com

I meant the pairing thing. I'm madly in love with Sirius and will probably never be over his death.

Ahaha, I loved that parody chapter! It cracked me up. Especially that line!

From: [identity profile] framianne.livejournal.com

Completely unrelated, but had to share: Jake (http://towleroad.typepad.com/)!

From: [identity profile] green-queen.livejournal.com

Oooh, I'd seen smaller ones but not that side! He's so damn hot. *drools*

From: [identity profile] green-queen.livejournal.com

A movie. That hadn't come out yet when I was writing about it.

*nods sagely*

My dad met Wil's dad and said he had neither painted nails, a raspberry-cordial-helium laugh, or a penchant for low brow humour. Haha.

Mind if I add you? Add me back if you want. :)

From: [identity profile] green-queen.livejournal.com

Hee, that's cool!

I don't mind but I'm not adding back right now because my flist is way too big.
