So I missed an exam today thinking it was tomorrow and feel deeply and horrendously stupid.
Tom says I should stop beating myself up about it, but better me than my father. My family are infuriating at the moment, mostly because I've been cooped up for a bit. I need to get out. I shall do tomorrow, for instead of my test I'm gonna hang out w/ T&N. Today I studied a lot, mostly. I reread a bit more and discovered that it is very difficult to read a 760-odd page hardcover book with a dusk jacket and two bookmarks in the bath. The edge of the duskjacket and one bookmark fell in. I was thinking (OotP spoilers)-->that maybe Lily was just unaware of what Snape had done to the Marauders to cause the grudge. I'm not excusing their actions coz they were shitty, but remember the whole Whomping Willow trick/life-saving/Snape's knowledge about Lupin thing? What year was that in? I know that they managed it by 5th year, and the bullying incident occured in the 5th year. Maybe that's why they were so angry with Snape, and they obviously couldn't tell Lily? Just a thought. Of course they were still arrogant bullies at that point....but maybe arrogant bullies with something to back them up. *tries to love both Snape and Sirius*. Okay, I have to stop doing that. But gah, I'm stuck into it again, and I can't help theorising every three seconds. It really is amazing, I love it. Um...the height of excitement during my day was getting to drive down to Manuka for a bit, and seeing nice and clearly with my shiny new glasses. Also, the girl on Provedence looks like Sofia when she has her hair all straightened. A lot.
Last night at the Bronze a truly awful girl called Kelly tvs showed up again. This girl has said in the past that all Wiccans will rot in hell and only Christians are right, so I have quite a problem with her. Last night she was going on about how great Margaret Thatcher was and all her right-wing views, which I wouldn't have minded so much except that I find it very hard to take her seriously and she kept going on about how she cares about everyone and doesn't look down on anyone, blah blah blah. I have never seen a shred of evidence to support these claims and plenty of evidence to the contrary. And she decided to tell me to stop calling her pathetic and that I should respect her views. It's not her views that I mind so much even if they clash with mine. It's her I don't respect.

It's an interactive HP site but not with only chat boards about the books and movie themselves (I was at one today that had a conspiracy theory posted on it that JKR didn't write the 5th book herself. I nearly died laughing.) It's got some places where people post pics and such, and some fun stuff. Go check it out.
