Am running in from ARIAs ad breaks and typing this on Word. Am total nerd.

Kate – I thought this was good and she looked good but I’m still waiting for something really, really amazing from Kate. Hadn’t noticed the arm thing at all. I think she’s got a good fan base, I wonder if it’s enough tonight.

Lee – I am not a Lee hater. Tonight Lee was crap. He should never, never try to do a slow song again. He looked good and he was okay in parts, but seriously, not in the calibre of the other performances. Stick to what you’re good at, sweetheart.

YAY BEN LEE for winning best independent! I love him.

Anne – I don’t think I liked this as much as everybody else did. I didn’t think it was that good a song, and I swear she’s turning into Beyonce.

Daniel – Holy shit, where the hell did this come from? Fantastic! Why hasn’t he been singing like that lately? He still can’t dance but at least it was comfortable and rocking. Hated the shirt and the hair, but great performance.

Dan – I’m totally biased but I loved this, as always. Ugly shirt but a really, really good performance. I just love his voice, I could listen to him all day and never get sick of it.

Emily – Touchdown? Yeah, okay, whatever. It was good, I didn’t think it was touchdown worthy.

I missed Jim :( the show just isn’t the same without G and James hosting it together. Jim’s doing ok at the ARIAs but he’d still be better with G.

I think I'm the only person in Australia who can't listen to Missy Higgins.

Nothing. I think she's a good singer and a good artist and whatnot, I even like her songs. But there's something about the inflections in her voice when she sings that makes my throat close up and I just can't listen to her.

Yeah, kinda like Kasey Chambers, I suppose. It's not even her voice, it's just those bits at the beginning of words. I wish I could listen to her, I like her music.

I just can't decide between Crazy Alice, Porn Me or Killer Pinata, since all three are pretty much my default state.
The throat thing is really weird. Then again certain pitches make my legs spasm, so sound is odd. Does it happen with anyone else?

I can't listen to anyone murder Cyndi Lauper. I have a cover of Time After Time by Matchbox Twenty I like, and a version of Sarah McLachlan singing it with Cyndi, but I hate the dance remix froma couple years back.
