Yukako's coming tomorrow!!! Yay!!!
T&N didn't call to say whether they can make it even thought they said they would today *sigh* when we went to see Metropolis. It was pretty damn good for when it was made, but in the end the giggles overpowered me. One-eyed slutty robot pirate woman! *lmao* and the eyeliner! Johnny Depp in eyeliner=good. Every single male in a black and white silent movie in eyeliner and black lipstick=bad. I did the biggest MiSTing in my head the whole way through it. The woman's hands were enormous!!!
Invited another person to my party :D:D also had a very long conversation about HP and hobbits, then came home and cleaned the house for Yuka's arrival. Squeee!!!

1. What were your favorite childhood stories? I read everything. Famous Five, Secret Secen, Babysitter's Club, Goosebumps, Paul Jennings. Absolutely everything I could lay my hands on. I loved *deep breath in* Tiki-tiki-tembo-nosarembo-chari-bari-ruchi-pip-peri-pembo *whoosh* when I was about 3. Yes I still remember the kid's name. Don't know the story's name. Lots of Japanese stories. Rabbit in the moon!!
2. What books from your childhood would you like to share with [your] children? Definitely the Japanese ones, they rock.
3. Have you re-read any of those childhood stories and been surprised by anything? *ponders* not so much. How anyone would ever let a 13 year old babysit. Ridiculous.
4. How old were you when you first learned to read? Very, very young. Much younger than usual.
5. Do you remember the first 'grown-up' book you read? How old were you? Nope. Don't know if I've ever read a grown-up book...Kidding. Probably read my first fairly young.
