I forgot to say, I'm going away for the weekend. I will try to get tuatha_de and sherrif_topato to let me use their computer to update, but I don't know how well that'll go.

Going to see Serenity in Sydney on Saturday for Serenity Day, yay! It's a big international charity thing for Joss Whedon's birthday (which is actually today, June 23.) Should be really good.

I say this every time and it never happens, but PLEASE leave me a comment if something terribly exciting happens.

Well, I don't know about terribly exciting, but you might be interested in seeing this: a YouTube video of 10-year-old Jake Gyllenhaal in his first movie role. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AfL3lWNOOoQ) It popped up over at wranglers, so credit for the find has to go to dozy_embrace. And a link for another video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PfMqfrvSXJ0) showed up in the comments, this one from an ep of Homicide: Life on the Street when Jake was about 14.

Hey what time and whereabouts is the Serenity screening? I live in Sydney so I might pop down with a friend who is such a fan of the DVD but has never seen it on the big screen.
