My Outsiders DVD came today and I gotta tell you, that movie is a hundred times better without the bad score and with some proper exposition and scenes that make sense. Rating for the novel version or whatever the fuck it's called: 8 out of 10. FAR superior movie.
Sister and I just stayed up way too late (again) watching Party of Five DVDs. YAY OMG. I remember why I loved Scott Wolf now.
Tonight I watched Over the Hedge
It was cute. I am getting ridiculously tired of those damn 3D animated movies, though. There were FIVE DIFFERENT ADS for other 3D movies, two out right now and I've seen an ad for at least one other lately. What gives?
The movie had some great action scenes and the characters were very cute. I could've done without the sermonising about family. In the old movies, the cowboy would ride into town and save everybody but he would ALWAYS ride out at the end. Some great gags, though, and I thought the humans were hilarious, even if the rest of the cinema didn't. I love Thomas Haden Church. Steve Carell's manic Hammy was hilarious.
7 out of 10. Enjoyable but forgettable.
I had this smaller but now it's BIGGER and I love it. Dom and friends at the Wellington RotK premiere.
We'll do it for Johnny!
