My sister found our Zoombinis game!
I played it for hours, it's so addictive. It's really fucked up on my computer though, the screen splits and repeats at the bottom, and it messes up the resolution. Still, so cool omg.
My friend
suika713 made a Veronica Mars fanmix and it's awesome.
Somebody remind me why I'm not watching the World Cup? Oh yeah, it's on at like 4 am our time. Still...*drools* the manlove is fantastic.
So apparently Steve Carlson had a song on Supernatural? I don't know, it was in the Supernatural music mix I got from
goldie_gal. I gotta say, Christian's voice is sexier.

9. Gone away, far from good, left alone again - Who Am I – Chris Kirkpatrick
10. I knew all along that I was right at the start, that I was right about the seeds of the weeds that grew in your heart - Bang Bang You’re Dead – Dirty Pretty Things
11. This is a song that came upon me one night - The Chariot – The Cat Empire
12. Why are there so many songs about rainbows and what's on the other side? - The Rainbow Connection – Kermit the Frog

30. We move like caged tigers oh we couldn't get closer than this - The Lovecats – OK Go
Tonight I watched an Australian movie that hasn't been released yet called Footy Legends
It's the typical Aussie underdog movie that gets made. It's pretty much about our version of trailer trash - bogans, dole bludgers and losers who get their high school Aussie Rules football team together (it's like American football without the padding and with less confusing rules) to enter a contest. The central character is interesting, a Vietnamese Australian who has to win or his little sister will be taken out of his care.
The movie is really well-made with an excellent cast. Very good acting all around, especially from the little girl who plays the main character's sister - she's really natural and affecting. The plot is pretty weak, though. Claudia Karvan is wasted in a role as a social worker who seems to know nothing about social work. That whole story arc is just confusing. Still, the movie manages to look rather unflinchingly at some of Australia's problems and still see a lot of heart. It was shot on location in Sydney (in Yagoona for the most part) which gave it a very realistic quality, and the director (lead actor's brother and cowriter with the lead actor) did a good job with the pacing. Camerawork's lovely.
One of the highlights of the movie for me was the music, they managed to get some great Australian stuff for the soundtrack. They've got 'What's My Scene', 'Holy Grail', even a bit of Shannon Noll. There's also a couple of cute celebrity cameos and Peter Phelps puts in an appearance as the stereotypical coach of the other side's team - complete with clipboard-throwing tantrums - but he still makes it look cool.
6.5 out of 10 stars from me.

I'm on the highway to Hell in a 1967 black Chevy Impala and the view's pretty good from here

I wish there was a sport where they just made hot athletes get all sweaty, then jump on each other and kiss and hug and put their shirts over their heads. I would watch that.
