Go play at [livejournal.com profile] groaty's Character Dislike Meme. You can say which characters you don't like without being judged or attacked.

An open letter to the writers of Lost. Not quite as funny as Bruce McCulloch's Open Letter to the Guy Who Stole His Bike Wheel.

Dom for PETA and Dom on Rachael Ray (looking hot and surfing on land) thanks to [livejournal.com profile] txvoodoo!

The war on terrorism related as though it were Middle-Earth.

1. Since everybody else is doing it, dead Charlie would be the one character death to drive me off the show. Eko and Sayid might come close, but killing Charlie would make me leave. I can't help it, I'm a Dom fangirl to the very end.

2. I don't want it to end with everyone dying.

3. I'm stealing this one from [livejournal.com profile] ack_attack: I don't want the producers to be forced to write more seasons than they want to write. I don't want the show to go on past its planned conclusion. If Damon & Carlton jump ship, I'm jumping with them.

4. I don't want the show to ever stop taking risks. I think a lot of people didn't like season 2 because it went somewhere they hadn't predicted, but I don't want the writers to decide not to shake things up out of fear of losing viewers.

5. Purgatory. It's the most commonly floated theory and it's been denied a hundred times, but if that is what's going on (and I really don't think it is), I'm disowning the show.

And five things I DO want to see:

1. The return of Shannon. Even as a zombie.

2. I really want to see most of the surviving people make it off the island and back to their friends and families. I want a reunion between Charlie and Liam, and maybe Sayid and Nadia.

3. I want to know what was going on with Walt and why he's so special.

4. More nudity.

5. Seems obvious, but nobody's posted it yet. I want to know what the island's all about! Why it's there, why it can't be found, why people keep crashing there, and what the Dharma Initiative have to do with it all. What's the Sickness? Why does the island cure people? Is the Sickness part of that?

New Plastic!Winchesters.

Dom on Rachael Ray, I forgot who made the cap. Sorry! Probably [livejournal.com profile] _skulking_, she does that.

Give me at least 1 reason why I'm going to hell. Then, repost this meme in your own LJ and see what other people say about you.

Lol you're going to hell because of lust.

Also, I totally agree with your five reasons to stop watching Lost. Those would make me so angry.

The Brother's faces are good, but the barbie hair needs cutting. Badly. As for Lost, I agree on some points, but I like the flashbacks. Guess reading so much Stephen King has prepared me for Lost. They actually should kill off Charlie or Jack: Jack, because even as much as I love Foxy, the character is DAMN annoying, and Charlie because it'll force them to give Claire something to do besides breastfeeding. Imagine a Vengeful!Claire, going after the Others.

Also? It'd free both of them for film or other series work. I sometimes feel that their talents are being held back by the writing/direction of the show. *shrug*

I don't believe in hell, unless I hate a person. You're cool. ;D

Cos you've just posted this meme and I really want to do it, and I can't think of anything else to send you to hell over :)

Reasons for Hell - probably lust and gluttony. Certainly not sloth though.

LMAO! Yeah, I made the cap. It's just the flash trailer. Should I cap the whole show?

Hmmm... you are going to hell because God is crazy jealous that you love Joss more than Him, so he tells St Peter to cancel your reservation.

Could you do me a really big favour? Could you either upload the cap to LiveJournal's image service or e-mail it to me at green_queen_jp@hotmail.com? I have trouble seeing Photobucket-hosted pictures when my connection's wonky.

I so agree :)
I love how they take risks...and I think that's what makes me watch it, because I hardly ever know what they are gonna do next :)

Much as Dom is excellent, I don't feel like his death would affect the show much - Charlie isn't a central enough character. And even if you love him... I reckon most people could agree with me that the show wouldn't lose much if he died besides eye candy and comic relief. But maybe in season three they'll develop him.
That's what I'D like to see in season three, the characters of Charlie and Claire to be developed.

And after just watching all of season two, I think I have a theory o the island...
In SOS, the faith healer that Rose goes to, tells her that there are certain geological spots on the earth that can heal the sick, that his place is one of them. Then he tells Rose that the place they are on isn't the right place for her, but yet... the island heals Rose of her cancer and gives Locke the ability to walk again. The island is one of these 'healing' spots on earth.
And all that magnetic stuff, with the button etc, that's the reason for flight 815's crash, Rousseu's shipwreck, Henry Gale's balloon crash, Desmond's sailwreck. I think this magnetic force draws things to it, but buggers up signals so that the island can't be found. Like compasses don't work as well if they are near strong magnets, I reckon that the magnetic force on the islands bungles compasses and search equipment.
I haven't figured out what the whole magnetic force/end of the world thing is though...

Well, I would disagree with you. I think losing Charlie would have as much affect on the show as losing anyone else, to be honest.

Yeah, I have been thinking that exactly. I think that either all or most of the Others are sick, too, which is why they've all chosen to stay on the island.
