The little stammer on ‘stuck with those people’ was interesting.
Aww, Mary. She was the same age as my mother when she died, and I’m six months younger than Sam. It’s interesting that Sam’s doing this, saying he loves his mother, when he was so young when she died. Poor Sam. Poor Dean even more, though. Poor, pretty Dean. I like the camerawork in this scene, it’s unsettling, very good. Guh, arms.
Jensen is so great. Watch the moment just after Sam says “Maybe this isn’t about a hunt, maybe it’s about something else.” He leans forward, put his arms on the Metallicar, clips his words at the end. It’s aggressive.
Sam constantly trying to push Dean into talking isn’t the way Dean’s going to work his way through this. He’s saying the wrong things, asking the wrong questions. As much as he wants to, he doesn’t really get his brother. He’s making Dean uncomfortable instead of encouraging him to open up.
The undead girl is pretty but this is a boring subplot.
Man, Dean really is on the edge. Have I mentioned how unbelievably awesome Jensen is? Pretty, too. Dean is so uncomfortable with other people’s grief.
This must be the girl people have confused for Summer Glau.
LMFAO SAM IS WATCHING PORN. WIN. SARCASM IS THE REFUGE OF LOSERS, DEAN. Love it.

I recently saw the Buffy episode Some Assembly Required and I’m getting a very similar vibe from this episode. Thought you should know. Only I had a lot more sympathy for the guests in that episode than this one.
Wow, VERY aggressive Dean. This scene was on the CW, and it really impacted me then, but now it just feels like more of Sam pushing at Dean verbally, like he has been all episode. The ‘I’m gonna lose you’ line has been coming for a while, though. Jensen = pretty, with his unamused smiles and perfect raised eyebrows and angry pursed lips. I love how Dean always avoids the topic by bringing them back to the case, to supernatural things and killing and stuff he knows, he can handle.
Yay, Romero reference. Dean HAS to tease Sam about that flowery shirt, man, come on. It’s right there. PRETTY IN PINK REFERENCE! Dean really does know his hunting shit, though. Why didn’t they look up ancient Greek zombies? Makes sense given that’s how the zombie chick was brought back.
