Fuck the Rally for Children's Rights. Grrr.

I'm sure other Aussies will have seen this ad tonight. It's basically against gay people adopting kids. Apparently, the Canberra government wants to allow gay people to be allowed to adopt kids in Canberra, which this ad campaign says is against most people's wishes and against the best interest of the child, which is apparently to be raised with both a mother and a father, in spite of how awful those parents are or how soon they may be divorced. Grr. And now there's going to be a protest. This as pissed me off more than you can imagine. I threw things at the television, I screamed and yelled. It's horrible!!! I'm outraged.

Currently, George W. Bush is right here in the same city as me. I feel somewhat icky.
Also, I've gotten into some hot water over a debate about Texas today. I've never heard of good press from Texas, so I'd like to learn more about it.

Today was not terribly interesting. I got up nice and late and did some uni work, as well as some new layouts for my page and such. Called Tom and Nina. Just a nice lazy day. I watched Inside Idol and got fairly cranky, though they spent a decent amount of time discussing Mark Holden's awful comments about Levi, and Dicko's dancing was very amusing. Then I went to play pool and stuff again with Justin, and then we watched Stargate. JONAS!!! I want him back *pouts* he was awesome--but at least we have Daniel now.

Of course, the LotRiPS fandom is rocked by the revelation by Sir Ian at his weblog-type thing that Elijah Wood is "perhaps" "resolutely gay." My thoughts:
1. Ian wouldn't lie to us
2. However, he is being quite hedgy about stating anything.
3. But ELIJAH LOVES DOM!!!!
