Okay, today was boring again, I went in and watched films and didn't get to see Written on the Wind because it's BOOKED OUT! until Wednesday night. I bumped into Misha and we had a good rant and ramble, and I enjoyed Au Revoir Les Enfants. Came home, called Tom. Very exciting stuff.
The Q test was deeply annoying (not the episodes, but I hate that STUPID GIRL!) Also, I realised something about Queer Eye when that other awful man was there. The show really depends on the chemistry and the energy of the Queer Eyes. Without it it falls desperately and horribly flat, even if the Straight Guy was one of their best students. Also, Ted watches Monty Python! And my love for him deepens.
Rove was really on tonight, it was terrific. I loved the stunt they pulled with Channel 9, that was really cute, and their Straight Eye gag too. Tripod were very funny. G and James were hilarious--G just giggled like a little girl and went MANIC when they brought up the fireworks. As soon as Rove said they'd be on the show I was like "Oooh, it's our queer guys!"

contrelamontre people, what do you think of the new challenge? Personally I thought it was interesting, and I'm surprised people seem to think the mods want us to write bad fics. Obviously we're supposed to use this plot contrivance to make something good with it.
I'm going for a Very Queer Night, with my link of the day being the official Queer Eye for the Striaght Guy page (actually not too shabby)...
