Go Guy baby!! He did it!!! Guy Sebastian is the Australian Idol!!! I am so utterly delighted. This is fantastic!!
They dragged the thing out way too much, but it was great to hear from the top 12 (who all seem to have improved!) and Courtney, and the beatboxer (and Axle Whitehead's great "I'm Afraid of Americans" tshirt.) Courtney just bloody *rocks*. Mark trying to generate publicity for himself was appalling, but all the songs were great and GUY WON! Our little Guy!
Shannon and Guy were unbelievably adorable tonight, honestly. As soon as Guy won they started hugging, Shannon was the most gracious loser, it was wonderful. And when Guy finished singing, that exact second, Shannon came running on stage to hug him again!! And then Guy went off and hugged his parents, and he had glitter in his fro! I LOVE GUY!!
