3.06 'Hi, Infidelity'
AKA Piz Seduces the Wrong Girl Through Bowling (and Wears a Robe)
Piz finds Veronica in the cafeteria and enthusiasms her into submission
by showing her an AWESOME album he got for REALLY CHEAP OMG (London Calling, vinyl, unscratched, 99c), but Veronica is having woes
so Piz is like 'Bowling! Bowling with a whole gang is the cure for all the world's evils.' Which, you know he had planned the whole thing with chatting her up using classic music references and then inviting her bowling, but he's just so beguiling when he does it.
Also, he's looking at Veronica like this. She consents.
He goes back to his apartment and is all 'WALLACE! BOOM!'
'Go team me! BOWLING!'
But Wallace is all 'I am one of those annoying uni students who can't socialise because of the WORK!!' and Piz is all *sadface*
So when Piz gets to bowling he's kinda all alone, and he's gone the post-ironic route with his bowling attire (which, you know, funny because she wore the 'I'm only here ironically' shirt)
and Veronica brought Logan and Parker
and she's like 'I thought it was a group thing?' and he's like 'HAHAH...'
...yeah, not so much' and Parker's all 'OMG DOUBLE DATE' and Veronica's like 'NO!!'
So Piz lures Logan away to get the shoes because a) we all know Chris Lowell has a massive crush on Jason Dohring and b) then we get to see these two fine-ass boys on the screen together, yay!
And then, they bowl!
Only Veronica & Piz are kinda losing, and Parker's a somewhat...jubilant...winner
and Piz gets a split, then misses
so he is Not Impressed.
WHICH IS TOTALLY MADE UP FOR IN THE NEXT SCENE, WHERE HE TURNS UP IN HE & WALLACE'S ROOM ALL WET IN A ROBE WITH A TOOTHBRUSH IN HIS MOUTH!
He finds Wallace still asleep
and tries to wake him up by being all 'if you're dead I get to keep your stuff...'
It doesn't work.
So he POKES HIM WITH A TENNIS RACKET. Which, yes, then he wakes up.
Veronica goes to visit Piz at the radio station
but he is busy talking on the phone and having awesome arms. Seriously, those are good arms to have.
He goes to sit 'casually' on the couch for a conversation with Veronica
wherein she informs him that Parker has a thing for him. He is amused.
Because she's not his type.
He finishes up by looking at Veronica like this, but you know our precious little clueless Veronica.
So she and Parker visit him again
and he agrees to go get pizza with them (TONGUE)
but they bump into Rapist Mercer, and Parker kinda flips her...erm, wig...because his cologne gives her rape flashbacks. They leave.
Veronica goes to Sheriff Lamb who is - I still can't believe it, even after all this time - sympathetic and helpful. Fans check for glowing red spine. Piz is totally there in spirit.
3.07 - Of Vice and Men
AKA Piz is a Gentleman Whose Guitar Gently Weeps
Who should Piz find unexpetedly half-dressed in his room but Veronica? And, in a surprise twist for Piz, she asks him what he's doing there.
He's all, oh, I live here, you remember my guitar?
That's where it gently weeps (BEATLES FTW.)
He left he and Wallace's 'Paperchase-Shining' style cram study weekend because 'all work and no play makes Wallace PSYCHOTIC.'
Another day, another adorable Piz pose - all sprawled on that big red pillow, GUH
and he finally asks 'so...what are YOU doing here?' but Veronica gets avoidy
and Piz invites her to stay
which is probably so he couldlook at her like this study. Really. Studying very hard.
There is a dorky knock on the door and it is Rapist Moe and Plot Girl and Piz is like 'It's you! Every time you're around, mystery happens. Fix it!'
They go next door to start to fix it, and Piz leans in a manly fashion
and then proceeds to rummage through the belongings of people he barely knows.
Better than Veronica, who rummages through the rubbish bin of people she doesn't know at all, but Piz is all 'year of finishing school, what're you gonna do?'
The next time Piz sees Veronica it's back in his dorm
aaand she's not alone. There's a girl in Piz's bed.
Why is there a girl in Piz's bed? Veronica tells him she's sad about her missing boyfriend
which, he says, is understandable, but...
Where is Piz sleeping?
Veronica tells him 'if you play your cards right...the floor!'
So he escapes to cover Mercer's radio show, and Veronica takes the opportunity to detectivise Mercer.
Piz is once again helpful in the finding of clues
which prove that Rapist Mercer can't be the rapist. But oh, he can.
Piz, being the absolute doll that he is (and not Keith Richards, did end up sleeping on the floor
from which he requests an egg sandwich
and is a happy camper when his request is acknowledged. LOVE.
THEN HE MAKES HIS GUITAR GENTLY WEEP!
Again, there is a knock on the door
but this time it is Veronica's wayward boyfriend, looking for her. Piz informs him that yes, she was there before but he hasn't seen her in a while (and the Piz haters were all 'OMG HE WAS MEAN TO LOGAN AND HE HID STUFF' and I was like '...dude, he was just normal. A little jealous but not insane or anything.' But that's beside the point. Back on track.)
Logan goes on his not-so-merry.
