The last Piz Retrospective! All my caps in this part are from Chris Lowell Online.
3.20 'The Bitch is Back'
AKA Piz is Beat Up, but Protective
If you recall how we left our intrepid hero, he wasbeing beaten to a pulp having a manly fight with Logan (you should see the other guy; his hands, particularly, I really tore them up). Now Piz must be helped back to the room by a very supportive Wallace
and Piz is complaining about walking, more thickly than usual due to an unfortunate amount ofprosthetics bruising around his mouth when they encounter Veronica.
Our messed-up pollock is uncomprehending on why he wasbeaten to a pulp forced into the manly fight (Wallace: 'You didn't lose a fight, Piz, it was a drive-by!') and thinks it might've been about the beach encounter
which is why he is surprised when Veronica tells him what happened and asks if he frequently tapes his sex buddies and didn't bring it up before (but she doesn't really think he would do that, because LOOK AT HIS FAAACE!) Wallace threatens to beat up Logan to protect Piz's honour, because Everybody Loves Piz. Like Jack Sparrow, without the rum.
In order to take his mind off his troubles, Piz makes his guitar gently weep
and points out to Veronica that the welt under his eye looks like the Virgin Mary. I cannot make this shit up.
He calls it his 'miracle eye' and makes up a song about it.
Veronica takes offensive to the song, or possibly hears a clue on the headphones she's using to eavesdrop on someone she thinks might've been behind the tape.
Piz: 'You know you're adorable when you surveil.'
Veronica asks about her clue-finding
but Piz doesn't know anything about it.
Later again, and Piz and Veronica are getting their Pizonica on in the cafeteria
and being rather ridiculously adorable about it, too
when someone recognises them from the pre-sex tape.
Piz tries to be diplomatic and ask them nicely to stfu about his girlfriend
while Veronica goes for the more Veronica-style taser approach.
Remarkably, Piz actually manages to stop her from tasering the dickwad who was irritating them, thereby displaying the calming, nice-guy influence that is one of the reasons Veronica (and the rest of us) are so attracted to him.
He lets her know that karma will take care of him. (Veronica: 'I'm gonna over him with my karma.')
We're up to Piz's VERY LAST SCENE EVER!! OH NOES! Having just beaten up the guy responsible for the pre-sex tape in spite of his connected connections, Logan confronts Piz again
only this time, it is to beg forgivenessand sex: 'Piz, just the man I was looking for. Listen, man, I am truly sorry.' Because Everybody Loves Piz.
Piz looks to Veronica
takes in this astounding revelation
and considers a threesome.
