Congratulations to England, comiserations to Australia.

Not that I give a shit about football. George Gregan's a nice guy, though, I met him once and he was very friendly.

So today was spent doing not-very-much-of-anything-really. I went to Justin's and scanned in a shitload of photos, so if I promised you Halloween photos or something (and even if I didn't and you just want to see them), just let me know via email and I'll send them right over, red rover. I can kick Justin's ass at wrestling. Mostly coz he's ticklish, though.

So by now I figure everyone's heard about the death of Jonathan Brandis by suicide. I count myself among the legions for whom he was a teenage crush. May he rest in peace.

What fandom did you get into that you were absolivity and posiloutly sure, you were never going to get into, but you did?
Billeh love!! I swore I would never, ever fall for Billy, but then I did.

What made you think you would never get into it? What tipped you into it?
Well I didn't get him at first. I didn't get why everybody went mad over him. I thought he was funny and kind of cute, but he just didn't attract me at all. Then, of course, I saw the whole pool/together/tape bit with Dom from the Two Towers DVD and I was lost. I love him so much now it's not funny. I think I started falling for him when he did the little scrunched-up-nose smile-laugh thing he does...yeah. *sigh* BILLEH!

Did you start to write/vid/archive/dub/(fill in fannish creative activity) in that fandom? Do you still?
Yup, I wrote one Billijah story. That's the only one that I've written that's got him as a main character, I think--but it's actually my favourite. It's called Doppelganger, you can find it at Once You Pop.

Have you ever pimped someone into a fandom without trying? Which fandom, and what did it?
I usually pimp people into fandoms by working my ass off to do so :) Although once I mentioned that I liked Incubus and Our Lady Peace to a guy who'd never heard of them and he became a huge fan.

Do you have a fandom where you do not read the fic? Why not?
Harry Potter and Buffy. I absolutely refuse because I'm a crazy purist in those areas. Nothing written by Joss & co. or JKR sits right with me.
