The website for the convention is back up! You can now book your tickets for the October 26th/27th Hub convention featuring MICHAEL MUHNEY and CHRISTIAN FUCKING KANE and a bunch of hot chicks. Excitement! Merriment! Something-else-happy-ment!
To celebrate, and in no way because I was doing it anyway, here's the third part of the Lambspam: Season 2, part 2.

We begin this section with 2.12, 'Wallace and Rashard go to White Castle', and Lamb interviewing another of my favourite dicks, Dick. Who is not, like, a professional smellologist.

He is interviewing kids about the bus crash and there's something about there being a bad smell. It's not overly important.

Lamb doesn't make an appearance in episode 13, but here he is in episode 14, warding off Keith's 'Jedi mind trick' to get Lamb to clear Terrence Cook of suspicion in the bus crash.

Keith's brought in more-or-less convincing evidence that Terrence wasn't involved

but, being our loved and trusted local sheriff, Lamb doesn't really want to let off a suspect he enjoys blackmailing so much.

Keith and Terrence decide to do a little blackmailing of their very own

which leaves Lamb more than a little ticked off.

Episode 15 also has some office!Lamb action, gloating when Keith comes in to tell him that Terrence has explosives.

He does some mocking
and adorable face-pulling before irritating Keith to the point where he leaves.

They meet up again at Terrence's hangar, where Lamb ignores Keith's queries like the champion ignorer he is.

Keith tracks him down again at the Sheriff's department:
'Lamb, I've been trying to get a hold of you!'
'And I've been ducking your calls.'

He makes some more cute faces while listening to Keith exposition at him

before kindly telling Keith that Terrence got shot.

Lucky for us, episode 16 also has some nice Lamb moments. In this one, he sees Veronica with ex-flame and evil, duplicitous water Troy and comes over to bully Troy a bit (though to be fair, he's under suspicion for rape.)

This episode also shows us that Lamb's been getting a little too friendly with one of Veronica's high school pals, Madison

in the elevator at the Neptune Grand. Can you imagine being on the Lamb? You'd have the cops crawling all OVER you!

Keith and Cliff go to the sheriff's department with their enchanting new photos

and Lamb is glib at first

but becomes less glib when the boys shows him their anti-Lamb campaign ideas.

Eventually, he helps them out with their investigation. I reckon they could've gotten a lot more out of him if they wanted ;)

Even more Lamb in episode 2.17! Now he's stuck having a cozy chat with two of his favourite people, the younger Mars and Weevil, once again in his office.

'Still picking winners, huh Veronica?'

He ponders the cuteness of Thumper's nickname (which, I always wondered why the big tough PCH-ers were following a guy who was named after the bunny in Bambi)

and throws their not-entirely-legal near-confession back in their faces.

He's not quite so cocky when Veronica brings him an actual witness later.

Lamb doesn't show for a couple of episodes, but he comes in guns blazing in episode 20 - well, not quite blazing, but look, gun! Just a smidge too little, too late.

I LOVE THIS SHOT. HE'S ALL FUNKY DIVA SHERIFF. Ahem. Back at theranch Sheriff's department, Lamb walks in just as Keith's getting information out of a creepy stalker, having handcuffed himself to him.

A frustrated Lamb separates the two new lovebirds

and Keith begs for a little more time

but Lamb does what he does best and ignores Keith's pleas.

2.21, 'Happy Go Lucky', is positively Lambtastic, starting with a couple shots of Lamb at the courthouse for Aaron Echoll's hearing.

Standing around, looking self-important after discovering that Veronica had an STD.

He's then provided with an alibi for Terrence Cook for the bus crash (a more airtight one, if untrue)

which is...irritating...to him.

We next see him telling Mayor Woody Goodman that they've found a bomb under his car...

...then later, in his office, talking to Keith and Veronica about some evidence they turned up that suggests the mayor is a pedophile and was involved in the bus crash

but Lamb's got a theory that Keith's just plotting the whole thing to make Lamb look like an idiot, because he's paranoid like that.

More courthouse drama

and at the department, finding out who was involved in another murder.

He employs his very best trust-me face to interview some kids

and is intrigued by the results.

A few seconds later, he gets even more information about the bus crash/pedophilia thing

and finally telling Keith that Mayor Woody's taken off.

So we come, finally, to the end of the season 2 road and Lamb demonstrating just why the people at his local restaurant probably spit in his coffee.

In a glorious trademark Don Lamb move, he arrests Weevil at the kid's graduation

in front of the entire school and his poor grandmother.
That's it for part 3. To see past installments, check out these links:

I watched Dead Like Me specifically for the convention. I like George, it should be fun meeting Ellen. I'm most excited about Muhney, and a bit about Mercedes too - I really liked Harmony.

and btw, re Thumper's nickname, a "thumper" (http://www.thumperpage.com/) is a type of motorcycle.
