I have a super cute new haircut. No photos yet - Squishy tried to take some yesterday but the camera setting was wrong and he ended up taking about 10 blurry photos of everybody - but I'll show you later. Also, I got water all over my jumper sleeve and none of my other jumpers are warm enough :(

I took the Movie Compatibility test on Facebook, and of all the movies on there, I always check Lord of the Rings and ET. They're like my dealbreakers. Anyone who doesn't like ET must be heartless. Right?

An interview with one of the new characters on Heroes. You know, the male one from that other cult show. He thinks Japanese is hard? He should try Mandarin. Japanese is relatively simple to copy once you've got the basic sounds down, there's not a lot of variation. I love this:

Friday night before I went out I babysat and watched Meet the Robinsons

Unfortunately the colour was broken on the TV, so I had to watch the entire thing essentially in variations of red and green. I think a lot of the visuals were lost on me, so the film had to hold up on script alone, which...it didn't, entirely. It was very cute, but really odd, and none of the concepts felt fully developed. It was a bit like they just threw in everything they thought would be kooky and funny for little kids without actually making it cohesive. It had a lot of great energy and some really funny parts, mostly thanks to the bad guy, but I picked the plot twist really early on and the time travel stuff...doesn't quite work. The kids liked it, though.

Instead of a 10 fandom things, today I am going to do
1. Squishy! Although it's weird that he's so damn young. He's barely two years older than my little sister, and more than 5 years younger than me. I feel like a creepy old woman, even if we are just friends. He's so entertaining, though, and he's such a sweet kid.
2. Impromptu parties! We had one last night. Originally I was just going to coffee with Anthony and Melissa, but then I asked Jamie and Mitchell, and Jamie brought his bf, and then a bunch of them came over (ostensibly to help do my taxes, but that didn't happen) and Matt and Helen came over, so we had pizza and awful cupcakes for Matt's unbirthday.
3. HAIRSPRAY OMG. Seeing it again with Matt on Tuesday night. I don't know if you noticed, but I love Hairspray, like, a lot.
4. My new haircut rocks.
5. I am so excited for Muhneycon. I'm going to Sydney two weeks in a row, for my aunt's party and then Muhneycon, and it's going to be so much fun. If only I had money.
6. I know it's turning me into a big fag hag, but I love hanging out with all my gay friends. I went to Cube on Friday night and hung out with some of them and they're all so cool. It was some strange aerobics theme and Mitchell dressed up and proceeded to crack me up all night. Good stuff.
7. I'm not sick anymore! This is very exciting.
8. I will finally be finished with uni in a little over a month.
9. I'm going to see My Chemical Romance at the end of November! Also, hopefully, have a joint birthday party the next day for Mitchell and me that will be epic. Or big-ish, anyway.
10. Facebook rocks. There are SO many people I have gotten back in touch with via Facebook.

It's a self-portrait from his photography website, and he looks so cute in his top hat, I knew the second I saw the picture I needed an icon of it. I like Tom Lehrer, and the lyrics popped into my head when I was making keywords for the icon, even if Chris is far too nice to actually poison pigeons.

Dom went on Jimmy Kimmel and showed a bunch of photos of what he was doing while JJ was off cavorting with Tom Cruise for MI3. Other highlights: playing Connect Four with himself and having a tea party with his stuffed toys in a tiara. SRSLY.
