I've got a job interview tomorrow!!
It's at a sales place in Phillip, I really hope I get the job. I need the money! I'm going to stop by Gungahlin and drop off the $$ for the BOBW con tickets. Also, Tom and Nina got back today, so I'm gonna give them a call tomorrow and see if we can get together. I have missed them so much in the week I haven't spoken to them.
I didn't get to do any Christmas shopping today (dammit) but I did see Spellbound, which was actually really good. I was so going for Harry, he killed me--he was cute and twitchy and talkative and such a nerd, and I just loved him. All the kids were so cool though, and it was just a great little documentary.
I watched the LotR special on the ABC tonight. The parallels to "great figures and battles in history" was really suss, but I knew it would be, so I steeled myself to sit through it to see the RotK previews and 30 seconds worth of interview material I hadn't already seen. Three seconds of Pippin leaving Merry just completely broke my heart, I nearly started crying right then. Seeing Dernhelm and Merry readying for battle was also a killer. I can't WAIT to see this movie!!
Am reading a fic. In Stargate:SG1 fandom. This never happens.
