Hilarious Dan Radcliffe interview. He has no filter between his brain and his mouth at all.

Tonight, my first movie of 2008 was Breakfast on Pluto

I hate it when men look prettier as a woman than I do. Cillian Murphy is intriguing in the role of Patrick 'Kitten' Braden, he felt really authentic to me - there's a certain artifice to the act of being yourself, I think, for transvestites, and he gets that down. The film's sort of a mess in terms of plotting and editing, which seems to be more the fault of the book-to-screen adaptation than the performances or camera work. It's hard to tell sometimes where you are and how you got there. It's a very interesting and engaging story, though, and there are some very powerful scenes. I saw it as more of a story of resilience than anything else.

3 out of 5, and I'll get a pretty picture rating scale like [livejournal.com profile] grrliz's up and running soon.

I@m so excited about Torchwood. 16th Jan can't come soon enough. And you have to love the Jack/Ianto :D

I don't even like Jack/Ianto that much (that is, I love it for the shamelessness and eyecandy but think the characterization makes no sense) but OMG SNOGGING!!!!11 And yay, James Marsters!

Also, Cillian Murphy looks SO INCREDIBLY GORGEOUS as a woman. It's really quite alarming. I enjoyed the movie a lot despite the plot and the awkward pace, mostly because he was wonderful in the role. Have you watched The Wind that shakes the barley? Completely different movie and so awful and heart-breaking, but I loved it and Cillian was incredible in it. He's evidently not just a pretty face!

YAY, Dom! Thanks for the warning, I would have missed it.

Also, that Daniel video is priceless, particularly the "Who Would Win in a Fight" question!

I haven't, but I've seen Sunshine, which made me think Chris Evans should be a bigger star...
