Pretty much the whole appeal of this picture, the reason it's one of my all-time favourites, is because I would desperately love to be there. Hanging out at a barbecue in New Zealand with THAT cast during the filming of Lord of the Rings? That'd be a dream. And they look so happy and relaxed.

5. Sirius's death in 'Order of the Phoenix'. I'm only slightly cheating on this one.
4. River Phoenix fading out at the end of 'Stand By Me': sad in context, morbid and depressing when real life factors are taken into account.
3. When Jack comes to visit Ennis after the divorce and finds out how it really is, then drives to Mexico. (And then the rest of the movie.) 'Brokeback Mountain'.
2. The death at the end of 'Rebel Without a Cause'.
1. 'I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you!' It doesn't make me sad, but it did make me cry repeatedly.

I did watch Plata Quemada and that kiss is indeed hotter in live action. You should watch it.
