Sims:Makin Magic is taking over my brain.
I played for a total of about 8 hours today. Didn't go to bed until about 4:30 am last night either. I will go tonight, though, because the other computer's already off. It's so fucking hot here, I swear.
Lots of talk about the party tomorrow. I'm quite nervous, I hope I pull it off okay.

1. When did you first become a LOTR fan?
Umm...Well, I liked the books when I read them in year 11, but I think I became a proper fan when I saw the pictures released for the film version. That first one with all the hobbits. Yep.
2. Have you read the books?
Yes I have.
3. Seen the movies?
Yes I have.
4. What is it that you love about LOTR?
It's got beautiful characters, a great plot and it makes for excellent movies. Interesting themes, even if I'm not entirely convinced by some of the ideas behind it. Pervy hobbit fancier. Plus, loads and loads of boys prancing around and kissing each other. And Sam. I love Sam.
5. How many times did you see each of the movies?
Dunno how many times I've seen FotR and TTT now, but at the movies I saw FotR 3 or 4 times and TTT only twice. No, three times. RotK I've only seen once so far.
6. Times you've read the books?
Twice. But I skipped bits both times.
7. Just how obsessed are you with LOTR?
I'm much, much more obsessed with LotRiPS, but I do love love love the films and the stories as well. I'd say the RPS is one of my major fandoms and the actual LotRverse is one of my minor ones *nods*
8. Can you speak elvish?
A little bit. I can do the One Ring speech, plus a few other bits and pieces.
9. Did you dress up for any of the movie premieres?
I wore my Sam Will Kill You T-shirt to RotK :)
10. Most memorable moment as a fan?
Getting my tickets for Best of Both Worlds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dom kissing Orli, too.
11. Favorite of the books?
Fellowship of the Ring. I like the happy.
12. Favorite of the movies?
Oh, I can't decide between Return of the King and Fellowship (not that Two Towers isn't good.) RotK is just earth-shakingly brilliant, but Fellowship is so happy and sweet and gorgeous and innocent. It's got a couple of my favourite scenes. It's got Boromir. And they all look so good, whereas by RotK they look a bit the worse for wear. I don't know. Can't decide.
13. Favorite overall character?
Sam. I love Sam. He's the most loyal, sweetest and most blindingly innocent character that ever existed. He's like love personified, and he's just gorgeous. Plus he can kick ass when he wants to.
14. Character you find most attractive?
Merry? Only coz he's Dom. And yeah. *swoon*
15. Favorite couple?
Movie: Frodo/Sam
RPS: Dom/Elijah, but he can kiss Orli all he wants!
16. Favorite hobbit?
Obviously, Sam.
17. Favorite elf?
Hmm. I'm gonna say Haldir coz Craig rocks.
18. Favorite man?
Boromir.
19. Favorite dwarf?
I happen to like Gimli :) Forgotten all the dwarves from The Hobbit.
20. Favorite wizard?
I like them both! Okay, Gandalf, but only coz he kicks so much ass and he's Ian.
21. Favorite orc?
The Uruk that killed Boromir, he's cool. Also pigface from the third film! Ugliest thing I've ever seen on a big screen.
22. Favorite villain?
Wormtongue, because I really, really, really, really hate him. I hate Denethor too. I kinda like Saruman.
23. Favorite horse?
Brego! Brego/Aragorn OTP lmao
24. Favorite scene from the books?
Oh, Sam and Frodo in the tower of Cirith Ungol. Naked cuddles :) And Sam's "I may not be able to carry it for you, but I can carry you!" *sobs*
25. Favorite scene from the movies?
Fellowship: Boromir's death. Still wow.
TTT: The Gollum/Smeagol scene. That's cool.
RotK: The aforementioned Sam carrying scene. I love Sam. It made me cry.
26. Coolest creature?
Balrog! Shadow and flame. Also, Fell beasts, which I fucking LOVE.

Gollum.

Smeagol.

This picture disturbs me, as I have a deep-seated fear of insects (and am deeply alarmed that he has one as a pet, I'm afraid I couldn't live with it) but Dom just looks *so good* in this picture. Pics of the Day here guys.
I want more RotK icons and an icon of Dom from one of those model pictures or this one cropped so Gizmo's gone, but I don't have space :(

can i just say: SAM WAS THE HERO!!! haha sorry. it's just yay, you love sam too. x) and his whole 'carry you' speech made me cry. actually lots of things in that movie made me cry...but i digress.
oh yes, and your Frodo kissing Sam icon was just brilliant. (again cried at that part).
