Every time I see an icon post full of pseudo-pretty starlets I want to bang my head against a wall. I'm getting particularly tired of seeing Kristen Bell's 100x100 face all over my flist.
The AFI '10 Top 10' list that Dom contributed to is now up. Hooray Dom. I...disagree violently with huge portions of that list. Also, there's a 'romantic comedy' but no regular comedy? What's the point in having Mystery when you know Alfred Hitchcock is going to steal the show? Also, hey, good movies HAVE been made since 1985!
It's possibly, of course, that I'm just bitter about Lord of the Rings not being the #1 fantasy movie. I love Wizard of Oz and all, but seriously. The sci fi noms are just lazy. 2001 is an overblown monstrosity, Blade Runner is overrated and I just don't like Clockwork Orange. T2? Really? (Thumbs up for Back to the Future, though.)
Oh God. My childhood. My brain. My eyes. My dignity. THE HUMANITY. Trailer for Lost Boys 2: The Tribe. It looks like Corey Feldman thinks it's a different movie. You know, one that's actually remotely related to the original.
