I should be asleep but for some reason, having felt like death all day, I now feel really awake...and like death. But not sleepy. Unfortunately. So, something to keep me busy for a bit.
A) People who have been tagged must write their answers on their blogs and replace any question that they dislike with a new question formulated by themselves.
B)Tag eight people to do this quiz and those who are tagged cannot refuse. These people must state who they were tagged by and cannot tag the person whom they were tagged by. Continue this game by sending it to other people. I wasn't tagged so much as I stole this, so I can't very well tag anybody else.
1. What are your reasons for having a LJ?
I got one back in the days of invites because I was dissatisfied with the other blog options out there and I liked the community aspects of LiveJournal. Now I can't see how I got by without it. I get all my fandom news (and, half the time, my actual news) from LiveJournal, and I have met a great many friends.
2. What do you do before bedtime?
This. I hit the computer every night before bed, even if it's just to check e-mails. Usually I spend the last couple of hours before bed catching up on LJ, though.
3. What will your dream wedding be like?
I don't like weddings much, and I don't intend to marry until it's legal for GLBTI people too. I reckon my dream wedding would probably take place at the reception, and everybody would be drinking already by the time the vows were done. Receptions are more fun.
4. What is the city of your dreams and why?
I don't know if I have one. I kind of love Canberra, for the most part. I'm not really a big-city girl, but I don't like small towns either.
5. Are you an introvert or extrovert?
I'm an...extroverted introvert.
6. Go into your text inbox, what's the most recent message and explain what it's about.
I don't know what that means.
7. Do you trust easily?
I suppose I do, yes.
8. What is your earliest memory?
Letting the bath out. In Japan, you shower outside of the bath, which is kept hot under a cover, and then you bathe and leave the water for the next person. I was about 3 and I thought I'd done something terrible, I cried for an hour, I was inconsolable. No idea why. It's either that or coming home from Disneyland and lying in the back of the car looking at the trees through the window. I don't actually have a memory of Disneyland.
9. Is there anything that has made you unhappy these days?
My lack of money and a boyfriend.
10. What is your best quality?
I'm passionate about things.
11. If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
That kind of defeats the purpose of food. But, chocolate.
12. Where will you be in 5 years?
29. Hopefully happy.
13. Do you have any weird talents?
I can touch my nose with my tongue. And cross one eye without crossing the other one. I'm also quite good at knowing how much time has passed, eating large quantities of food, and quoting things more-or-less verbatim.

I'd rather be following my own path, wherever that ends up taking me.

Natto. Foulest substance known to man, I swear.
17. What's better, to give or to receive?
I'm going to be totally selfish and say to receive, unless the gift you're giving is appreciated, because otherwise you feel like a tool.
18. What's your current Facebook/MySpace/whatever picture?
19. What would you do if you (or your girlfriend) became pregnant unexpectedly?
Call various religious organisations, because it'd be a friggin' miracle. Had I actually had sex recently, I think at this stage in my life I'd keep the child and try to become financially independant and stable.
20. What were your parents going to name you if you'd been born the opposite sex?
Uh, Peter, I think.
